Hmm...  Think about it.
How much money can Trump legally give to Cruz campaign?    Yet by running interference for Cruz he can spend all he likes, and no one can stop him.   :sneaky:
Now That would be too funny!

The people I'm talking about are Investors. Trump was talking about this during (I think) the first debates when he was asked about going bankrupt and he started talking about all the "killers" who lost money. this is an expression for extremely rich people, financiers etc.

Trump also said they (killers) will be just fine.   You're basically right, extremely rich investors, bankers - but the very aggressive sort, "killer of a deal", "he just killed it, took the chips"... well respected among their peers.

One the one hand, it could be Trump sees the Presidency as a mountain to climb, something to "bag" - and his friends would certainly be there to congratulate him - but, after that, it's "who cares!  On to other mountains".  Bragging rights among fellow financiers.
For this reason, I am very wary of Trump, concerned he would just turn over the "job" to unelected underlings... avoid the negative pressure, retire to the golf course.

On the other hand, he's already done everything he's wanted, so, go ahead and shoot the wad, get elected and leave a legacy he could be really proud of.   Stepping into a languishing economy, righting the ship and America prospers again under Trump leadership.   A "get the hell out of the way, I'm here to SAVE the USA!" mentality... messiah complex... "I" am the man-of-the-hour.  Once the nation gets behind him, any mistake could be grossly amplified, the regular checks-and-balances are thrown away, HE is the man, bigger than life, it's HIS legacy, and by God, he's gonna be remembered!
And, who wouldn't be concerned, Adolf Hitler left a grand legacy among Germans and the rest of the world, how easy it is to walk down the path of destruction when the populace cheers you on.

Either case is intensely EGO driven, a short term goal or a long term legacy, sorry!... that's the way I see Trump.
Cruz as a VP might temper that, and perhaps Trump could be a fine President, achieving BOTH.  It sure is interesting to speculate.

Some of these contractors are not nickle dime chumps either, some of them are extremely wealthy.  Then of course you got you mob controlled unions, you know I always wondered how Trump worked things out with the mob......coz you can;t get a smidgen of concrete poured or a singe iron girder welded in NY or New Jersey without the okay and squeeze of some mobster

Yea... you and me both!  I heard Hillary isn't getting the usual Union support ... LOL   Talk about strange bedfellows, GOP and Trump and Unions, wow!  This is the kind of stuff novels are based on.

I could honestly see that coming ...  and Cruz rewarding him as the VP pick.

I sorta see it as a whole bunch of Bebe Rebozo's to a Richard Nixon....same ego probably.

My greatest fear is that Trump with his enormous Ego, will turn into an EXO drafting Tyrant if he doesn't get exactly what he wants on his "deals" with Congress....or whomever. And while I abhor the leftist tyrant we have in the Oval office now.....I DON'T WANT ONE THAT LEANS RIGHT....even if I agree on some of the more pertinent issues, ie illegals, Muzz and the lousy economy.

These Union guys are all like sharks, they are extremely monied, extremely smart and they will support Trump coz they KNOW they are gonna continue to make money with him, maybe even more than before coz now HE IS EL SUPREMO....like Obamao....and could stop any Justice Dept Investigation....that kind of Govt corruption and cronyism makes us Third world....another reason I don't want The Donald.
