It doesn't really tell you anything you don't know.  It just connects the dots a lot of it with Obama reading from "Dreams from my father".

And many of us think he is trying to make us in to a socialist nation... not so.

His Mom, his Dad were both anti -colonialist and believe we and other nations got rich by invading other nations stealing their resources and sell it back to them.

Obama's father dream was to get reparations (if you will).  Obama is fulfilling his fathers dream.  While he didn't know his Dad his Mom painted a very rosie picture and they had a psychiatrist you studies the effects of absentee fathers  on their kids.  So Obama had his Mom who spoke highly of his dad, idolized his dad wanted to impress him (even after his death) and we he went to Africa to visit his fathers grave he was influenced by many of his fathers friends who were also anti-colonialist, all this while being influenced by a communist Frank Marshall Davis and many others.

After all this than he gets mentored by Jeremiah Wright who preaches 3rd world/ Black Liberation theology (aka anti - colonialism) basically he is trying to get payback for all the wrong we've done (in his mind).  And to be honest after seeing his path through life I could see why he thinks that.

I know it may not be a great review, but I never claimed to be a writer.

I'm going to see it again for two reasons.

1. It makes you think so much (as you  watch it)  you miss some stuff.

2.  The more money it makes the less it can get ignored.


Oh, and wait to you see the end.  The author made 3 predictions in his book (awhile ago) and all have came true. 
1. Spending, regardless of the deficit 2. NO effort to stop Iran from getting Nukes 3. I forgot.

But he made them after going through Obama's past and concluded he would try to weaken America economically, defensively, our influence in the world.

As you can tell there is a lot of info and it really makes you think, like I said which is one of ht reasons I am gonna see it again.

I wish I could go see it,  :woot:closest venue is two hours away, between gas and a sitter, I'd be broke for the rest of the month.  I also have a sinking suspicion this might not grey released on video, why bother if Obummer doesn't get re-elected, other than to prevent history from repeating itself.  I hope it does though, I would like to see it.

It's getting released in more and more theaters every weekend.

It was only in about 150 before this weekend now it's over 1100.

I watched this movie.  It was unreal.

What I loved about it is D'Souza, when setting up the story, identified with Obama's upbringing as they had similar path -- same age, same graduating year, got married the same year, etc.  (D'Souza was part of a conservative journalism group in college at Dartmouth).

As Prickly Pete said, D'Souza leaves ZERO doubt that Obama has a passion against Colonialism, and is taking down the United States.  For example, his position on the Faulkland Islands, why he sent back the Churchill statue, and some others.  You don't have to navigate to get to that conclusion; it is dropped right in your lap that anyone can get it.  He uses chronological/geographical animations to place timelines and events, and really makes easy to follow.

Before I saw this movie, I knew Hussein hated the country, but I just didn't know exactly why.  After seeing this movie, I understand 100%.  The movie is not anti-Obama in any way.  It doesn't make him a villain, oddly enough.
