That's right, proof of what I've been saying for decades, that the "Green Movement" is nothing more, nothing less than a bunch of Marxist driven entities Hell bent on destroying the U.S..

Environmentalists have declared that global warming can't be stopped without ending the "hegemonic capitalist system," saying that cap-and-trade systems and conservation efforts are "false solutions."

"The structural causes of climate change are linked to the current capitalist hegemonic system," reads the final draft of the Margarita Declaration, presented at a conference including about 130 environmental groups.

"To combat climate change it is necessary to change the system," the declaration adds.

Environmental activists met in the oil producing, socialist country of Venezuela as part of a United Nations-backed event to increase civil engagement in the lead up to a major climate conference.

Every time I see someone advertising "Green" this and that, I fire off a nasty email explaining the roots of the "Green movement" is pure communism.
Now I'll just include a link to this article as well.

This type folks is what common core spits out every day.

You would think they would have more important things to discuss than our climate.  You would think that they would be concerned about our world,  teetering on the verge of collapse from the corruption in it but heck no.

There's enough man made dilemmas without creating more.

You're exactly right!
The left has indoctrinated an entire generation into believing and embracing the "Green movement" (Marxism).

When you look back over the Marxist progression, it was a brilliant tactical move. These kids unknowingly accepted the first tenet of Marxism, that Capitalism is evil, consumerism is killing the planet, and you as an individual are evil for participating.
And we all know how children hate being accused of something they didn't do, and the fact they haven't the life experience or tools to understand, or let alone fight back, so they simply comply.

I blame parents that turned authority of their children over to the state, in the way parishioners did in the Catholic church, and blindly trusted in faith, that they would be in good hands of a pedophile Priest.

Predators and thieves, that's all the left has to offer.

Schools are a huge problem.  They teach these kids to be idiot parrots with no skills or critical thinking ability.  The way to teach a society is for experienced people to teach the youngers.  This Marxist jobs program, known as the teaching system, has to stop.

You're exactly right on both counts.
Critical thinking would encourage challenging authority, and that is never tolerated in a totalitarian govt.
And this is why Unions and tenure need to be abolished, so we can eliminate bad teachers..

Wouldn't exactly say business saw this coming, late 1950's, but organized
industry most definitely did not rule out that the whole notion had that anti-
capital agenda. It started at UC Berkley,  unless someone has other info, late
1950's.
As the agenda developed, many conceded the worst case scenario was the one
in effect.  That became quite clear about the time of the Reagan era.
That means America and industry have had about 60 years to deal with it,
and about 40 to get serious about the threat.  What do you think?

It's "the enemy of my enemy" thing to it's logical conclusion.

Marxists / communists / socialists will forever link up with anything and everything that undermines America -

-AGW - Destroy coal, gas, and oil
-Illegals / reconcuesta / la raza
-Muslims / jihad / caliphate
-race hatred
-Jealousy / hatred of producers / owners
-Create a modern Sodom & Gomorrah
-Screw up the family and schools
-Atheism
-Social / community chaos (kids at the border) plus an epidemic if at all possible

Nobody here scoped-out additional articles about the conference...

The declaration (the group's Margarita Declaration) also conflicts with the UN's own schemes to tackle climate change.

It says carbon markets are a "false solution" to the problem of climate change and brands a UN-backed forest conservation scheme "dangerous and unethical".

There's some deeper stuff going-on here, with Australia terminating their carbon(tax)-market 3-weeks ago and South Korea jettisoning theirs last weekend.

Capitalist-countries and socialist-countries are siding against the UN Greens.

Venezuela, a staunchly socialist government, has long opposed the "green economy" concept, alongside other Latin American countries including Argentina, Bolivia, Cuba, Ecuador, and Nicaragua.
