Mueller and his "investigation" ought to be allowed to shrivel up and die on the vine.  Trump ending this investigation prematurely only gives the Democrats a whole bunch of TRUMP CARDS to play in the midterm elections.  After the midterms, if the Dems win, Trump may lose; if the GOP wins, then Rosenstein may decide that continuing to back this farce of an investigation has no up side for him and his own future...bye bye Bobby!

Simply, Mueller is a symbloic rallying point for the left, to flog Trump
every, second, minute and hour of the day.
A cardinal precept of conservatism requires wise leaders to be
prudent in assessing the future impact of actions they take now.
Wonder if Sessions ever heard of the word?

So, IYO should he fire Mueller or not? ...I'm guessing you thought the poll was about firing Sessions

I say no, needs to play out, fizzle out naturally....Or be engulfed and washed away by the IG report

The only group favoring firing is the msm as it
further darkens the stage; prolonging this fandango.

Not at this time! Let all the congress critters go after him. His investigation will die under it's own weight! It seems every week there are more and more republicans calling on him to finish it up. After the IG report comes out and the real dirt on how this investigation came about there will be a larger call to end the witch hunt!

At this point it's all about the midterms and holding onto our majority in the House and hopefully achieving a 60 vote majority in the Senate.  If prematurely ending this Mueller farce of an Investigation plays against the President and his party in the minds of the average midterm voter, than the effect of ending the Witch Hunt could do far more harm than good.

If the Dems take control of either (or both House and the Senate) then they will stop Trump and do nothing for the next two years than create an Impeachment of the President's credibility, if not the actual Impeachment  they so much crave.  At this point,it's all about the numbers!

After the midterms, if the GOP holds onto their majorities, then Trump can end this Investigation; but not now.
