I'm not saying we kill all the stupid people.

I'm just saying, remove all warning labels and let nature take its course.

Isn't that what Liberty is all about, letting one make their own decisions in life, good or bad, it's an individuals Right to risk their own life. Isn't it?
At what point did we allow the govt to become a Nanny State? What would be the remedy, the cure that returns us to a day when people were responsible for their own actions?

Take helmet laws, sure, in many cases, lives are saved, but in many cases they cause paralysis.
The argument was saving taxpayer dollars. Really? Why are we paying for others care? Again, it was a Nanny State that decided to steal the fruits of another's labor to pay for Darwin Award recipients to later, procreate.

I know you all know the answer. Whoever gets the answer correct first, gets the Ronald Reagan Cowboy hat for a day.

Hey Taxed, is it possible to tag an individual account with a Reagan hat (Gif) for a day? If so, let's do it!

I see 6 question marks, so 6 questions...

1) Yes.
2) When FDR ramed a bunch of socialist policies thru congress.
3) Getting conservatism to dominate education and media.
4) Yes.
5) Because the Dims rammed thru obamacare and lied about it.
6) (This one was for Taxed so ill let him answer it.)

All good answers, but I'm looking for a cover all answer, one, where if enacted, would begin the reverse of all this BS.

I like it but before that we would need major tort reform.

Boo you will need to explain tort reform for the Left.

Remember there was a promise to reform tort laws on a federal level.

Quale was the first to breach the topic:

Vice President Dan Quayle made public a letter from the president of the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association praising Mr. Clinton's opposition to tort reform. Mr. Quayle cited the letter as evidence that the Democratic candidate was "totally in the pocket of trial lawyers."
https://www.nytimes.com/1992/08/31/us/1992-campaign-issues-tort-reform-selling-voters-bush-nemesis-lawyers.html

Then followed by Bush:
https://www.cbsnews.com/news/bush-pushes-for-tort-reform/

While McStain played lip service during his campaign.

Brings us to Trump. He did make a speech where he stated quite clearly we need Tort Reform, but apparently, his plan came under scrutiny when members of Congress claimed it would nullify the 7th Amendment.

Unfortunately, Trump's approach was "Frivolous lawsuits", when in truth, he should have focused on settlement caps.

To those unfamiliar as to what Tort is to cap monetary awards, these awards are nothing more than a way of enriching lawyers and pushing a leftist agenda.

It's funny, we have a local case of this crap right now.  The state is trying to outlaw smoking in your vehicle with the kids in there.

Of course anybody can press charges with existing child-abuse laws, if you smoke like a chimney on your kids 24/7.

But, no, what they really want is to gain more control of what you do in your car.  And house.  And family.

They're also trying to build a humongous underground rail system, which will destroy the damned city of Nashville for 10-12 years, go massively over budget, suck forever when complete ....... just like Boston, just like CA, etc.  It's never been successful, anywhere, ever.  Just like socialism / communism.

But the goal isn't actual transit success.  It's snatching 10 billion out of the taxpayers' pockets, using it like their own money, sharing with friends, etc.   AND the subsequent scam, announcing that it's "accidentally" wrecked the budget, and we need to immediately jump taxes by about 50%.

Luckily, there's a referendum vote that will kill it.  Not sure how that was accidentally allowed, instead of a simple Stalin-Like implementation.

The whole idea really got spoofed when the idiots selling it declared one day recently to be "Transit Independence Day".  Basically an emancipation proclamation for somebody somewhere, who wasn't receiving "transit justice" and "transit equality" and "transit security".

Luckily that shit got laughed out of town.  But it is their template now, everything is shat right out according to this framework now.  Dumbass liars, cheats, and thieves.

The nanny state also lets the kids know the government is here to help protect them. Add to that where the schools are reinforcing this belief, and we get kids who give up their liberities for protection, and look to the government for answers.
