More than $10 million has been raised in Dallas-area donations to aid the families of slain Dallas police officers. Ten grand of that was at one lemonade stand run by two schoolgirls.

The essence of some Americans is exactly the opposite.

In the Monroe, Michigan area south of Detroit, a child had set up a lemonade stand and had taken in enough money to make change when a "handicapper" on a bicycle showed up and paid for his drink with a counterfeit $50 bill.

The good news? Every penny was matched in donations by people who heard of the incident. Here's an earlier story before donations began rolling in....
