Two things going on here.....Peter Strzok and FBI knew what they were doing was wrong and refuse to stop.

Second...notice how Phil Mudd, a former CIA and FBI official used CNN to relay the message to tone deaf Peter Strzok and the FBI.... you guys better cross your T's and dot your I's or else. Well now we are at the "or else" phase.

IMO...nobody at the FBI even tried to stop this coup and it took a former CIA and FBI official to go on national TV show CNN and point out.... hey if you're going to continue to go down this crooked road you better have all your ducks lined up. Which we now know they didn't and more to come.

'That Worries Me': Peter Strzok Expressed Concern In Email About Scrutiny Of Trump-Russia Probe

As a top FBI counterintelligence official in early 2017, Peter Strzok expressed concern over the prospect that details of the Trump-Russia investigation would someday become public and be heavily scrutinized, according to newly released emails.

The emails, released by Judicial Watch, provide insight on Strzok and other FBI officials' thinking during Crossfire Hurricane, the code name given to the FBI's counterintelligence investigation of the Trump campaign.

In an email on March 22, 2017, Strzok summarized a CNN segment in which Phil Mudd, a former CIA and FBI official, warned FBI officials that the investigation would come under intense scrutiny.

Strzok relayed to FBI official Jonathan Moffa and FBI lawyer Lisa Page that Mudd said the "first thing I tell my counterintelligence guys is, slow down, make sure you do everything right."

People sleep peacefully at night because there are a few tough men prepared to do violence on their behalf.

A foolish man complains about his torn pockets.

A wise man uses it to scratch his balls.

Lover Boy Pete probably finds it liberating to be publishing a book (which he will hopefully need to fund his legal defense) and being able to make the liberal talking head shows to lie some more to the public.

Strzok was knee deep in the coup and knew exactly what he was doing.  His feigned innocent "I'm commenting as an outside observer to the coup attempt" routine is simply not convincing.
