You do know insurance is not retroactive. Like taking out insurance after you have an accident, it just doesn't work that way.

This is E&O insurance Solar and that is exactly how it works.  After election, before inauguration.

It matters not what they take out as far as insurance, it is neither retroactive, or as you stated, cover illegal actions.

No.  It isn't retroactive, Meaning before policy date.  What it means is....they were going to continue to attempt the coup/destruction even after his election.

E&O in no way applies. It is for executives and directors and actions they may takes. Also, liability insurance has exclusions for intentional acts.

In truth it means nothing, no insurance can protect you if you break the law, they did. The whole claim was just hyperbole on the authors part in hopes of giving her claim credibility.
