I found this to be quite amusing. Who is it that always supports tax breaks for the wealthy? Who is it that supports corporate welfare?

The very basis for the "accumulation of personal wealth" is the "conservative" ideology.

It is also a distortion, or perversion if you prefer, of the ideology of the Founders, and Christ.

Huh?

Now Solar, lying already. Not unpredictable though. I sent you a message telling you who I am, so man up for a change, and tell the others how foolish you are as usual.

For the other mindless who could not contradict what i said, as usual, so they have to try and denigrate me, this is Old_Trapper. have fun trying to prove me wrong, as if you ever could.

BTW, isn't there a rule in your forum saying that posters are not allowed to insult, or lie, about others? Could have sworn I saw something like that in the "agreement" I was required to sign on to when registering.

Ah!  I knew I recognized that idiocy from somewhere....

Thanks to you and everyone else here for giving me well-deserved crap.

I went to my friend's house as part of the wager. His dad knew about it and thought it was hilarious. I had to do a lot of errands for them (getting dinner, cleaning the inside of his car, scrubbing floors). One of the things I had to do was bring him his drink and cigar (and my friend a beer). Just watching him enjoy life and explain to me how he arrived to that place... it really looked like a nice life to lead.

He said he's had offers to sell his business for over $10 million. He's holding on in case his son wants to take it over one day. But if not, he's going to retire with an insane amount of money. That's definitely I want steering me through life.

Good stuff Bern.  Marxism and liberalism must always contend with thinking, common sense, and human nature.

The next issue is educating your liberal friend.

Since BS is a young person please let me share a personal experience today that confirmed my hope for our country. We seem to just hear about those under 30's who are entitled minded, but there are some out there who have seen the light. Today, we were due for our annual termite inspection. The young man who came shared he was 22. He was well groomed and spoke well. He began a conversation when he saw I had FNC on and made the point that most people in his age group feel so entitled. This began about a 15 minute conversation. He is originally from MA, but moved to WNC when he married his wife who is from here. He told me he had gotten out of the Marines November after four years with a tour in Afghanistan. Both of his parents were military. He said he was working this job because he and his wife were expecting their first child and he needed to build up some funds. He said his benefits from the Marines were good and he will soon start college. He knows this job is a beginning. He went on about his military service and said he got out because the Marines had become so PC and the Marines could not do what they were trained to do. So I asked about rules of engagement. He told me they were terrible and cost the life of one of his buddies. I thanked him for his service and he departed. I found myself almost tearing up as it was so refreshing to see a young person who has his head screwed on right. Let us hope there are many more out there. I just needed to share considering how childish our presidential candidates are conducting themselves now.

We proved him wrong on every issue on every single post.  I'd love putting out the blue tarp, telling him it's water, then watching him try to dive face-first.

I hate to say this. But it's the truth.

If money is your primary motivation in life. If you think "being rich" is what it's all about.

Hate to be the one to break it to you, but you are in for a very disappointing life.

And if that's what motivates you, you are right where you belong with the DNC and the likes of Clinton and Sanders.

The accumulation of personal wealth is what motivates the leftists of the lib DNC.

Not Conservatives.

The accumulation of personal wealth is just an added benefit, a side effect of sorts if you will, of being a conservative.

Great post!

One can recognize that there are far more important things in life than money while still understanding that money is not completely unimportant.

Money can;t buy happiness but it can often buy freedom.  Freedom from having to work at a job you don't like, freedom to do what you truly want with your time.   The rest is up to you.

Also is the OP for real?  It sounds like a joke he's amusing himself with.
