KHQ.COM - Police say two teens assaulted 88-year-old Delbert Belton outside the Eagles Lodge in North Spokane Wednesday night around 8pm. Belton was rushed to the hospital where he was placed in the intensive care unit but later died. Police are actively searching for two suspects. We are seeing a pattern of Black on White crime it seems. One might ask why? In my view the president and attorney general have made it a habit to make race an issue in way too many instances. Their positions have given "unsaid" license to carryout these actions. It is quite sad. Unfortunately, the only solution I see is more capital punishment to get the attention of these thugs. Will that work? Probably. Many years ago I lived in Jackson, MS and there was a rash of convenience store violent robberies. The police department began positioning armed officers in the coolers. They actually killed a couple of would be robbers and guess what? The robberies stopped. Harsh? Yes. Effective? Yes
