Yeah, we used to call it recess.

You've got to see the video, she proclaims it doesn't cost the school a cent.

These kids get to run around school for 15 minutes every day and it's improving their health

A UK school program encouraging kids to run everyday is catching on
'The Daily Mile' is the brainchild of former principal, Elaine Wyllie, who was concerned about the fitness among students. Her idea has been implemented in countries around the world.

I remember playing dodge ball at recess. Nobody thought anything about it. I don't recall any injuries. Of course, in our day getting a bloody nose by being hit by the ball was your fault for getting hit.

Exactly!
I remember a lot of injuries, but truth is, we were boys and shrugging it off was expected in the day.
Unless it was pouring blood, you said ouch, laughed, and got back in the game.
I remember getting a bloody nose playing tether ball, kid hit me instead of the ball, I kept playing until the yard monitor made me stop, not because I was hurt, but because I was getting blood on the equipment.

My how times have changed. FOR THE WORST!!!

My how things have changed. We played rugby during recess and we played in the parking lot in the back of St. Mary's Primary school. There was always blood.
