TILLER, Ore. (AP) — In the tiny, dying timber town of Tiller, the old cliche is true. If you blink, you might actually miss it.

But these days, this dot on a map in southwestern Oregon is generating big-city buzz for an unlikely reason: Almost the entire town is for sale.

The asking price of $3.5 million brings with it six houses, the shuttered general store and gas station, the land under the post office, undeveloped parcels, water rights and infrastructure that includes sidewalks, fire hydrants and a working power station. Tiller Elementary School, a six-classroom building that closed in 2014, is for sale separately for $350,000.

People sleep peacefully at night because there are a few tough men prepared to do violence on their behalf.

A foolish man complains about his torn pockets.

A wise man uses it to scratch his balls.

Druggies! Buy your very own town-as-a-grow-house!

It's Oklahoma. Don't think it can't happen.

Sounds to me like one million would be a generous offer.
How nice are the houses?  How big is the power station?

Thinking the same, but more like 100k for the whole 250 acres of basically useless land, with a handful of shacks on it.
A perfect Amish tourist trap... main highway running thru it, they could sell all the overpriced, outdated food and factory made furniture there.
All animals are created equal; Some just take longer to cook.   Survival is keeping an eye on those around you...

Isn't some county in Oregon housing refugees or something like that on their property??  Note to self; scratch Oregon off your list as a place to visit.

Oregon is simply beautiful, just avoid the cities, you'll love what you see. aside from forests for miles, the beaches go on for miles without a soul for miles around.

$3.5 million dollars, but for what. It's a ghost town because people didn't wanted to life there. I wouldn't want to own it, even for free, too much of a liability.

I say let Trump buy it. He can name it Trumpville. Tell the EPA to put an end to the logging restrictions and let the logging begin. Put billboards on both ends of town stating trees grown back Welcome to Trumpville.

He would even have a school for Trump University. Then sit back and watch the liberals get triggered like they never was triggered before.
