Title: This Colbert episode might actually be watchable!
Post by: je_freedom on October 31, 2018, 12:46:48 PM
The Late Show with Stephen Colbert
will be LIVE on election night, Tuesday, November 8.
Depending on the outcome of the elections,
this episode might actually be watchable!

Colbert did a live show on election night two years ago.
The look on his face was priceless when the expert guest said,
"If he wins Michigan and Wisconsin, he's the next President!"

Another big plus for the viewers is the fact that the show will be live.
This means that the show cannot be censored the way every other episode is.
The other late night talk shows are either live (Jimmy Kimmel)
or recorded and broadcast as if they were live.
Colbert's show, however, is always recorded with extra minutes
that get taken out before broadcast.
That way, if a guest happens to make an excellent point against the Democrats,
that statement never gets aired.

All this depends on the outcome of the elections.
Usually, Colbert's show consists mainly of him (and sometimes guests)
calling Americans "racist" "bigoted" "ignorant" "paranoid"
and many other derogatory terms
for electing a President who is actually doing something to
reverse the decades-long trend of Wall Street fat cats
cannibalizing our country by exporting millions of jobs.

If the elections turn out they way they should,
it will be even funnier watching the ruling clique's favorite propagandist
be stunned by a second rebuke in two years
by the American people.

The show will be broadcast live, beginning at 11:35 Eastern time
on your local CBS station.
(I don't know if there will be a delay for the West Coast.)

Sorry, but I will probably pass on Colbert.

Sorry, but I will probably pass on Colbert.

I'll wait for the YouTube collection of Liberal celebrities getting triggered.

It turns out that the election results were not good enough
to make the Colbert show watchable.
But I toughed it out, anyway.
Somebody has to monitor the enemy!

One thing about the episode is, two of CBS's "journalists"
Alex Wagner and John Heilemann,
were overcome with giddiness enough to drop their "objective" masks.
They revealed how HYPERpartisan they are.
All of us at this forum already knew that,
but they were so BLATANLY biased
that even a very low information voter could see it!

Even so, many viewers have become so completely brainwashed in recent decades
that they would think that even this obscenely blatant bias is normal.
(There should be somewhere on the web a "thermometer" to show over time
how nearly completely the frog has been boiled to death.)

Yes, I am referring to the "how to boil a frog to death" analogy.
If you put a frog in hot water, it will jump out.
If you put the frog in cool water, and gradually heat it,
the frog will feel comfortable all the way until it has actually been boiled to death.

Likewise, if you suddenly put a country into socialism,
it will react violently against the denial of human rights
that is the core element of ALL socialism.

But if you introduce socialism gradually,
the people will never feel seriously uncomfortable.
They will keep accepting (and even demanding!)
the denial of their fundamental rights
until they have lost ALL of their freedom!

They will become the sort of mindless mob
seen often at today's institutions of higher stupidity,
(formerly called "colleges.")
They DEMAND that people be censored,
not realizing that that power WILL be used against them!
They DEMAND the imposition of a totalitarian police state!
They have been kept completely ignorant of
the mass murder and universal terror
that socialism ALWAYS brings!

Back to the Colbert show:
The audience actually CHEERED for Florida granting convicted felons the right to vote!
That ballot measure in Florida passed 60 to 40.

Throughout the episode, the audience cheered for evils of all kinds.
It reminded me of the scene in "Star Wars III: The Revenge of the Sith"
where Queen Amidala is in the Galactic Senate,
and observes, "So this is how liberty dies...with thunderous applause."

The entire Colbert episode can be seen at:

That page also has a transcript of the entire episode.

Here would be a truly GREAT prank:

Have 500 conservatives all agree on one date,
and have all of them request tickets for
The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on that date!
Populate the entire audience with conservatives!
It would be truly funny watching Colbert deal with THAT!
