It was around Christmas in '08, I discovered a youtube-vid of a white, 20-something Michigan-girl... She'd filmed herself waking-up on election-morning, gushing about being able to vote for a black person for President.  She ate breakfast, gushing...  got in the car, gushing...  kept the camera on the dash, somehow, waxing rhapsodic on how wonderful the day was...  pulled-into the polling place, left the car, gushing giddy 'good lucks' to other voters... coaxing other voters to gush about how wonderful the day was...  was asked to leave the camera in her car by election-officials...  Then she ended the vid pulling-out of the parkinglot, uttering a mini-gush about how wonderful it was to see the voting-screen accept her choice.

I remember thinking it was like driveby-racism...  If she felt that way, why wasn't she a campaign-volunteer?

I often wonder what she's up-to lately...
