Wiki is great for quickly finding really basic info. The sort of stuff people wouldn't bother edit or lie about. Other than that it's rubbish.

Easy access.  Quick reference!  Written to a high school level--which is why I use it!  SCHOLARLY pieces are above and beyond this board (and other boards I've posted on).  And besides, none of us are using it to write a masters/doctoral dissertation, are we???

How can one person be so thick? WIKI can be edited by anyone with an opinion, so it's not in the least bit a trusted source for 99.9% of the topics on any given board.

Kids in high school have been forbidden from sourcing wiki because most info is wrong on some level.

You know, you are DEAD WRONG about my motives.  Having been on this board ABOUT a month, I got to thinking about that study once again.  I think if there is a some 'science' out there as to why some of us want to destroy, punish and even KILL OTHER PEOPLE as a matter of first response to conflict--social, political or physical, then I WANT TO KNOW WHY!  Dean's writings sure as hell clarified alot of things for me when I read it several years back.

It has everything to do with the with the post and the SCIENTIFIC studies that were included.  Don't like the science?? Take it up with the scientists that did the study, correlated the data with 'behavior' and published it.
