Police in China cordon off the scene after a knife-wielding passenger ran amok on this bus, killing four passengers and injuring 11 others. The attack took place on Sunday night in the southwestern city of Chengdu. State media said the suspect began hacking at passengers before he got off the bus and attacked people on the street. Police then opened fire on the suspect and subdued him. Several victims, including a 10-year-old girl, remain in critical condition at a local hospital

Why, that's utter skywash! He could have easily used a sharpened stick. Which would lead people to want to ban trees.

It time to ban hands, that way no one could hold any implement of destruction. Amputate all hands!

Maybe they're prone to genetic-flaws in the self-preservation DNA.  -Because in their world, even the Thought Police wouldn't be 'policing' correctly, eventually.

What's the old parable... ?  Bill Cosby exemplified it in Bill Cosby On Prejudice, where he gradually eliminated everybody on Earth except his brother...  " and lately, I'm beginning to wonder about him. "

As a 250-lb man, with faster-than-average reflexes, I would be perfectly happy if the whole world went back to the days of swords and bucklers.  And even more happy to go back to the days of rocks and elbows.

However I have a sneaky suspicion that, as always, liberals are very obviously lying about the "future" they envisage.  Of course they want guns.  But they only want the GOVERNMENT to have guns.  And, as with all liberal plans, it works perfectly as long as no one ever asks the most obvious question in the history of the world:  What could possible go wrong?

I feel sorry for the 11 people killed by Chinese tyranny in this particular instance.  But I feel exactly as sorry for each and every one of the TENS OF MILLIONS of helpless disarmed people their government has murdered over the last several decades.

According to the FBI annual crime statistics, the number of murders committed annually with hammers and clubs far outnumbers the number of murders committed with a rifle.

Reverse reasoning: Outlaw nails, and no one would need a hammer.
Libs use this reasoning where bullets are concerned, make them more expensive than guns, ergo' no need for guns.

If you're planning to rob or murder somebody who's unarmed, you don't really need more than one bullet.

But if you want to be ready to DEFEND yourself from somebody who's shooting at you - at any time, under any lighting conditions and cover - that's called a "firefight."  And then there's no such thing as enough bullets, or enough practice.

As always, liberals couldn't possibly care less about reality; all they care about are their feelings.  Somebody gets murdered in a back ally - whether it's by pistol or icepick - that's terrific; yet another opportunity for more of the glorious self-righteous indignation that's the only think that makes their lives worth living.

What liberals hate is knowing that millions of law-abiding citizens fire billions of bullets a year at target ranges, WITHOUT killing anybody.  Every one of those makes the liberal feel just a tiny bit less vital to the existence of the human race.

Liberals, of course, always find it much easier to simplify and/or defect the blame for their problems. The simple truth is that simple minded people need simple minded answers to the not always so simple realities of life. We could call this Lib cop-out the Simple Minded People Need Simple Minded Answers, or SMPNSMA for short.

Here's a short and simple list of how SMPNSMA works for the Liberals:

1. If public school students aren't being taught well enough to pass their grade levels, then the grades need to be lowered and/or falsified.

2. If you don't bother to work, or even look for work, then it's the fault of corporate America.

3. If you don't know who the father of you children are, then the system is at fault for "keeping you (and those who fathered you children) down". Because, you know we all would rather work for living than lay about scr... ah, forget it.

4. Can't make the payments of the mortgage and/or credit cards you willingly took out? Well then, blame the "predatory lenders" that forced you to take these loans and cards (wait a minute, nobody forced any to...ah.., never mind).

5. Law enforcement can't stem the public assistance sponsored crime rates? Well, the Libs will just work towards outlawing gun ownership by law abiding citizens (ya but, the crime rate is mostly driven by chronic non-law abiding thugs who use and abuse already outlawed drugs...er...I'm sorry, let's not let the facts interfere with Lib gun grabbing efforts).

6. Thirteen American service personnel are killed by a well planned Islamic terrorist attack and the Liberal response is that it was simply an act of workplace violence.

7. Four Americans are brutally murdered in Benghazi by Islamic thugs and the Liberal SMPNSMA response is "what does it, at this point, matter?"

Life is simple when you can address any and all problems (real or imagined) by applying the Liberal SMPNSMA tactic of deflection.

As Ronald Reagan pointed out, the wise man knows that very complex questions very often have SIMPLE answers.  And I'd say that applies to each of the questions you listed.

The problem is that the weak-minded person (i.e., the liberal) will accept only EASY answers.  And that is something completely different.
