School me on the UK Election
« on: June 08, 2017, 06:07:46 PM »
What happened ?

With so many Terror Attacks, I would expect a Trump-Style Nationalist would win.

But I don't know what is going on across the pond.

I don't live there anymore but I think it's because prior to becoming Prime minister May was the Home secretary which overseas immigration. She slashed the budget drastically which made it hard to track possible terrorists within the UK. Also she had introduced certain entitlement reforms that were not popular.

Although she is in the Conservative party she is no real conservative. Sound familiar?

The Conservative party is much like our GOP. They say one thing do the opposite.

Good comparison, it's as if the gop'E are trying to mimic European politics.

Mimic? Oh no. They are European politics. A bunch of limp wristed, spineless career politicians. Think of a congress full of European John McCains and Jerry Browns. I love the US but I want to go home again. I will not do that if the UK doesn't leave the EU. It's a bunch of Californias dragging everyone else down. Why should Britain or Belgium or any of them bail out Greece? They made their dumb, socialist decisions. Fuck 'em.
