RoboRoach the new Detroit export

Stories I'd be surprised to see quoted in the Detroit newspapers include this on an enterprising Detroit outfit that wants to market electronic stimulators for roaches....

At the TEDx conference in Detroit last week, RoboRoach #12 scuttled across the exhibition floor, pursued not by an exterminator but by a gaggle of fascinated onlookers. Wearing a tiny backpack of microelectronics on its shell, the cockroach—a member of the Blaptica dubia species—zigzagged along the corridor in a twitchy fashion, its direction controlled by the brush of a finger against an iPhone touch screen (as seen in video above).

RoboRoach #12 and its brethren are billed as a do-it-yourself neuroscience experiment that allows students to create their own "cyborg" insects. The roach was the main feature of the TEDx talk by Greg Gage and Tim Marzullo, co-founders of an educational company called Backyard Brains. After a summer Kickstarter campaign raised enough money to let them hone their insect creation, the pair used the Detroit presentation to show it off and announce that starting in November, the company will, for $99, begin shipping live cockroaches across the nation, accompanied by a microelectronic hardware and surgical kits geared toward students as young as 10 years old.

Democrats, who oppose DDT, will of course applaud the decision, since kids as young as 10 are absolutely trustworthy and we can be assured that those roaches will never escape .... turning YOUR town into Detroit.

Every article I see is the lamestream effort to crap unicorns and Obama Dust.  Since I don't post race-baiting articles and don't want my IP number pen-registered at sites that DO carry such fare, I'm kinda limited there. I'll have to make do with drive-bys.

I mean, when criticizing Hussein is racist and our mess is entirely George Bush's fault from six whole years ago, define "distraction." Our media whores with the mattresses strapped to their backs would really like to know, so they can give us more of what Miserable Failure wants us to see.

This site is for when the media uses one story as a means of distraction for the child Emperor, like Trayvon, what they wanted us doing was only talking about race, so this forum was invented for the sole purpose of burying the leftist drive to control the message, leaving the main page for the real news, the crap they were trying to hide.

There will be another made up crisis, something the LSM will use as a distraction from the real issues, and here is where they will be buried.

We get a shit load of traffic reading, learning and some trying to see what the Right is discussing, what is important to us, but when the media steals the message, that's all you'll find on every site, people discussing the daily topic, the one the media collaborated on with the Marxists to push as a way to cover his screwups.

We will be the only site not falling for their BS, we are trend setters, which is why we have the traffic we have.
So feel free to post anything you like on poli, until the LSM creates another crisis as a means of distraction, at which point, we ill relegate them to this obscure forum.

The media does not control the narrative, we, the people do.
