That look in their eyes, hard to fake. 

I see Wifey's beautiful brown eyes ... and 41yrs later ... still lose my train of thought.
We'll be talking on the phone, she gets on some story, and I go driving right past my exit.
OK, she married a Rebel, tamed & domesticated him, now she's got a total suck-up husband.
