please read back over what I said...I was responding to a coment billy made..

and yes he did get involved with carrier..first he threatened them and any other co. that wanted to move ...and then he was in the room for the deal with indiana....and then he took credit for it..
i think that counts as injecting himself in private business

Coupla points....Main one... HE"S NOT THE PRESIDENT YET.....so any "deals" don't count, not until after January 20 2017.
Second, do you think it is easy to divest ones self of a mega billion dollar plethora of businesses in such a relatively short time period? Such could take years.

Third...your inuendo that, "deals" have no place with the Executive office.....HUH?.....  yet how do we get out of such past" deals" engineered by Previous Prez's And I point specifically to NAFTA and TPTA .

Last, from the tone of your posts it sounds like you want the USA to go back into cold war mode with Russia.

How should we deal with Russia....don;t say rattle the sabre coz they will rattle right back at you, and don;t say with sanctions which DON'T WORK and just piss them off more.....the only SANE answer is Diplomacy....That and TRADE

Reluctantly returning this thread to the topic: doesn't anybody else here find it funny that our left is now concerned over Russian influence in our government? The left is concerned about Reds under or over the bed? Really? 

If nothing else 2016 has shown precisely how much a party can disintegrate and show every bad aspect as it crumbles. There is nothing adult about their many and manifest examples of bad political sportsmanship. They lost. Like children they refuse to admit it and now must be punished.

Detroit voted 95% for Hillary Clinton and yet 37% of its voting precincts had ballot boxes which had to be denied under a recount law pushed through by Democrats when they were in power. 

In plain English somebody stuffed the ballot boxes---incompetently. Identifying the who of who did this may be much more difficult, but in the meantime I see early reports Detroit will get some new voting machines. That much is a plus, but they were also promising new fire trucks a long time before that....

Of course, if it were a 'Pub dominated area with count issues, the Dims would be screaming bloody murder about the need for a thorough investigation and calling for people's heads to roll and be incarcerated under the jail for all eternity. And, frankly, they would be right to want a full accounting for why the vote counts do not match the ballot counts.

But since it is a Dim stronghold, not only is there no call for investigation, but there is actually a (Dim written) law forbidding a recount. Now why would they write a law which forbids a recount in a situation that calls for a recount?

Sometimes I think conservatives are too complacent - perhaps because we are so used to the corruption of the progs we just chalk it off to another typical day in prog politics. This time, though, I think something should be done. Conservatives in Detroit and across the state of Michigan should be contacting the AG calling for a full investigation and looking at the potential for criminal charges. With the numbers of precincts involved in having count discrepancies, the likely hood they were ALL due to procedural "mistakes" is practically zero. There is cheating going on at a massive scale, we have evidence with 248 precincts having too many votes registered in ONE CITY, and it will just be swept under the rug as the progs distract everyone with their "It was the Russians" BS?
