Noonan Reaches Out To RINO
« on: October 20, 2017, 04:39:50 AM »
In another Trump hit piece. And I can say this with certainty since I'm not a Trumpanzi.
She was a talented writer in her day, but in that day, the GOP still loved the country, just enough to allow a Reagan Presidency.
But those days are long past, the GOP now holds a Hollywood prop knife to the throats of its constituency, make that an armed constituency about to call the Establishments bluff, then kick their asses to the curb.

Thing is, Peggy is running two folds off from reality. One she lives in a bubble and secondly, her animosity toward Trump blinds her of his actual achievements in this long rambling article designed to keep her relevant to the elites on board the GOP Titanic as it steams towards a date with its electorate in the 2018 Midterm elections.

Oh, one other note, Wall Street Urinal is usually a pay site, but they always allow this tripe for free. Could it be they know what we know? That she is no longer relevant? (Ready for my close up, Mr. Demills)

Trump May Be Following Palin’s Trajectory

He proceeds each day with the confidence of one who thinks his foundation firm when it’s not—it’s shaky. His job is to build support, win people over through persuasion, and score some legislative victories that will encourage a public sense that he is competent, even talented.

The story of this presidency so far is his inability to do this. He thwarts himself daily with his dramas. In the thwarting he does something unusual: He gives his own supporters no cover. They back him at some personal cost, in workplace conversations and at family gatherings. They are in a hard position. He leaves them exposed by indulging whatever desire seizes him—to lash out, to insult, to say bizarre things. If he acted in a peaceful and constructive way, he would give his people cover.

(my commentary)
Skipping a bunch of pap designed for the champagne brunches with leftist elites in the GOP, I skip to the end of this disconnected drivel only a dementia sufferer could relate to.

Meanwhile Steve Bannon, Mr. Trump’s former chief strategist, goes forward with at least partial support from the president and vows to bring down the Republican establishment. But Mr. Trump needs to build, not level. He needs a Republican House and Senate if for no other reason than one day Robert Mueller will file his report, and it will be leaked, and something will be in there because special counsels always get something. It is Republican majorities—the Republican establishment—that the president will need to help him. He will need the people he’d let Mr. Bannon purge.

Meanwhile polls say the Republican nominee for Republican Alabama’s open Senate seat is neck and neck with his Democratic opponent.

Meanwhile the president absolutely has to win on tax reform after his embarrassing loss on ObamaCare. He shouldn’t be in this position, with his back to the wall.

None of this speaks of competence. And again, in America there is no hard constituency for political incompetence. Mr. Trump should keep his eye on Sarah Palin’s social media profile. She has 1.4 million Twitter followers, and her Facebook page has a “Shop Now” button.

Like Solar and many others here, I am not a Trumpette who buys into anything he says or does. Therefore, I can be somewhat more objective about him. He is not a conservative, but so far he is making some good decisions and it is paying off for. The left and MSM have their heads spinning. If one listens to all the BS coming from them one would think Trump is a dismal failure. Yet those outside the Beltway are ignoring the rhetoric. He is keeping his base.

That's it exactly, the left, including Noonan, just can't understand how so many are still willing to support Trump because he refuses to bend to the will of the Establishment, an Establishment that's been destroying the country for more than six decades.

I can't wait to see how she spins their defeat in 2018. "Aye, It's only a flesh wound, come back and fight you pussy, I still have one arm left""

She's become insufferable and pompous. Not to mention irrelevant.

Yep, and that's the reason she's sucking up to the Establishment, no one has any use for otherwise.
