Muscum Sues Little Caesars $100 MILLION Over Pork Pepperoni

A Muslim man in Michigan has filed a $100 million lawsuit against Little Caesars because, the man says, he received and consumed pizza laced with pork pepperoni.

Mohamad Bazzi is the plaintiff in the mega-dollar lawsuit, reports The Detroit Free Press.

Bazzi, 32, claims that he specifically ordered halal pepperoni pizza on two separate occasions from a Little Caesars in Dearborn but received delicious pork pepperoni instead.

Both pizza boxes he received were labeled "halal," according to the lawsuit.

The legal battle is heating up in a $100-million pepperoni lawsuit, with one side threatening to seek sanctions and the other threatening to file more suits.

Michael Huget, an attorney for Little Caesars Pizza, said that an investigation showed the claims of a Dearborn man, who is suing the company for allegedly serving him pizza with pork pepperoni when he requested halal pies, are false.

Huget said when he shared that news Thursday with the man's attorney, Majed Moughni, Moughni said he would drop the case.

But after Moughni told the Free Press on Friday that he still plans to move forward, Huget released this statement:

"In light of Mr. Moughni's about-face on his decision to dismiss the Bazzi lawsuit, we will be vigorously pursuing counterclaims and seeking sanctions."

"The complaint he filed has serious factual errors and critical omissions, which we plan to bring to the court's attention promptly.  I know that Little Caesars takes great pride in the commitment they've shown to their customers and communities for almost six decades. We are confident the court will recognize this for what it is: a frivolous lawsuit."
