Only those with strong gag-reflex control need touch the following link. This is the allegedly conservative Detroit News at work, from columnist Bankole Thompson....

QuoteWhile prayers are needed for the swift recovery of U.S. Sen. John McCain, who was just diagnosed with brain cancer last week, we also need to fervently pray and hope that his brand of politics — which is to put country first above party — doesn't vanish completely in Washington, D.C. There is much to learn from the Vietnam War hero. There is much to emulate from the Arizona maverick.

His positively principled character has been a shining light for many, and his voice of objectivity and candor has been a reassurance and constant reminder of the need to protect the basic tenet of this nation's democratic values that no one is better than the other.

Think about it.

Yeah. Think about how equal either Hillary or Bubba are compared to everyday criminals, or how DeBlasio is so equal to the homeless on the subway platforms, simply for his own convenience. You bet those liberals stick together. That's why this dolt likes McCain.
