All-in-all, the two-parter was easily won by Kelly... who had all the facts at-the-ready and had her prosecutorial-arsenal working at optimum efficiency.  Ayers stumblebummed around trying to re-frame the Weather Underground's bloody legacy, sounding more like a second-grade teacher than a college-professor.  I was 'there' during their tumultuousness, and was headline-cognizant, so I can say that he pretty-much came off as the same guy he was then.  -Basically a ideologically consistent con-artist, who does have some civics skills.  And some backbone for coming on FOX and facing Kelly, whom I think he underestimated.   She didn't bite on any of his argumentative trap-questions (answering her question with a question). 

Kelly trapped him with an FBI: 10 Most-Wanted list-question... pointing-out that he'd been on it.  Ayers blundered:  " Yes, so was Angela Davis... (a 3-second hesitation)...  There've been some pretty-great people on that list. "  That quote sums-up Bill Ayers then, and now;  self-indulgent, terror-minded, and pathetically narrow.

Maybe the FBI can still find a way to nail him and his wife.

Yes.  Ayers started-out by 'driving kids to school'...  then 'created' alternative-schools, and 'drove' kids to them.  Nobody sits-around in their right mind and decides to 'make sure kids can arrive at their school'.
