In my rural southern Michigan area, farm equipment sales companies are not uncommon, and the family farms are still alive and doing as well as can be expected under the heavy hand of the bureaucrats. Fewer and fewer farms are STAYING family, however, thanks to the economy and in part to a desire for something better (or at least different).

This young man must have been spectacular to have attracted that much attention and respect from his peers. I wish I knew a few around here just like him.
