I was told the war on drugs has been worse than ISIS could ever be.

Like everything the government is involved in:

its a damn shame but most government programs are decided by donations. Don't think hillery or the buffoon will change this, expect it to go into overdrive. I hope the people who can are watching whoever get the job.

The war on drugs.....I really hate that phrase because to me, a former first line soldier in this non existient "war" it is all a bunch of crap.

The US threw money at the problem by doing token enforcement which although was sensationalized....didn't amount to any serious impact.

Most of the money used to "fight" this "war" went for leftist social programs aimed at "rehabilitation" and "prevention" And as anyone can tell you rehabilitation is a bigger failure than enforcement.

"Prevention"...HAH!.....it's like trying to prevent a case of the clap when you are already dripping and pissing fire.

We used to sit outside of Methadone clinics and watch all the addict's file into the Govt sponsored program for "treatment" which was getting more drugs (methadone) then they would file right out and down the street to where the heroin dealers were lined up three deep on certain street corners.

Anyhow, the truth of the matter is that drugs are a vast criminal network run by outlaws, rebels, terrorists criminals and in some cases enemy countries and rogue Govts (cuba) (Venezuala) its a global market which in part is aimed at the united States.

Legalizing drugs is legalizing or legitimizing these rogue/rebel elements and empowering them further to destroy us.

Nowadays most of your heroin comes from Afghanistan & some other Middle east countries. In My day it came from Southeast Asia....or so the Chemists in DEA who would analyze the stuff for a :signature" of origin would tell me. The Shan Rebels in Burma, the various Hill tribes in Loas, Thailand and SOuthern China...most of whom were in a state of rebellion against the country and each has a sort of autonomous region where the strongest warlord was in charge they'd smuggle the stuff from their vast opium fields. The CHinese Triads (Mafia) and the Japanese Yakuza (Mafia) were involved. Today...its various Islamic terrorists.

Then we have those fun filled folks in Mexico that have turned their country into a vast killing field which has racked up a higher body count that the Vietnam war. They took over columbia as the perpetrators of a narco terrorist war that reaches into out country and tears at out soul supported by a vast army of illegal aliens.

But dont take my word for it....do a bit more research and learn for yourself.

Drugs/Terrorism go hand in hand.

Yes it is...... that and ignoring ISIS and blaming the US for terrorism that these groups engage in.....which is why Libral-Tarian candidates like Rand Paul only get about 1% of the vote....

My BIL is a libertarian which I find amusing since he claims to be a staunch conservative. He was trying to convince me to vote for Trump, citing the old 'if you don't vote for Trump, you are voting for Clinton' slogan. I reminded him that Trump is a liberal democrat so there is basically no difference between the two candidates. Unfortunately he's been thoroughly brainwashed by the left.

By their own admittance, Trump hasn't a chance if Conservatives don't vote for he lyin lib.
As you point out, not voting is a wash and neither candidate benefits, so what they're admitting is Trump can't garner enough votes on his own, which also means they realize most of his support came from libs, and they know he is despised by the majority of voters.

I believe everyone should vote, just not for Trump or Clinton. Every Conservative should vote for Cruz as should every liberal. He may not win, but it would send a powerful message to the power hungry politicians in CONgress to clean up their act.

That's the purpose behind this thread. Only 9 States refuse to accept write in ballots, but the remaining states can most definitely impact the process and make it known the base rejects the so called two party system lie.
