Out of curiosity. Did anyone even watch her show? I never saw one episode, can't stand her or the premise the show was built on.

Think about it, the show was built on how the left wants to portray the right, as a bunch of ignorant hicks, something Rosanne was typecast for, because that's who she is, a bigoted leftist moron.
And don't forget the fact that she ran under the socialist banner for President recently. They can't hide the truth.
Now are you starting to see what the left was doing in giving her a show of her own, and suddenly it's canceled because she insulted a Marxist?

Think about it, we know how the left works, so is it really a stretch to make the connection that this whole thing was planned?

Even Tom Arnold admitted he had warned the Network about her using Twitter, that she was about to explode and did. But they ignored him. Why?
You all know the answer.

I never watch situation comedies - ever. Not since Seinfeld.

But watched every episode of Roseanne. Made it a point for my entire family to.

AND I have a "spy box" on my TV that records my viewing, so to me it was extra important to show Hollywood that if they had a show that made a point not to make "Trump Jokes", I would watch.

We enjoyed it. It was funny. Was not condescending to "deplorables" at all.

One of the last episodes had Roseanne interact with her new Muslim Neighbors. I cringed to hear that.

But it was handled very well. Of course they were English-Speaking Muslim-Lite sort of folk. A Happy-Face fantasy instead of what I believe most Muslims are, really. But I was cool with it.

After all, that's all what most of us want, right ? Immigrants who respect our culture, too, and make at least some attempt to fit in.

So "Roseanne" became a pleasant 1/2 hour ritual for my family.

I am pissed the show was cancelled so friviously.

Sick Of Silence

I work so I miss watching things live. I watch video clips to get the overall story. I got turned off by the heavy politic in the first episode. The overall storylines is ok. Darlene and David's estranged marriage. Becky being a surrogate. Dan and Roseanne getting old. Nothing wrong with that.

Then they push the whole Liberal agenda as usual: non-gender forming child, black granddaughter, etc. That's not the average middle to poor white household. Someone being in jail or have been in jail would be more accurate than that black children or tranny children. Mark could have just as easily been in jail given his past. Him being "dead" is good storyline as well. A more accurate representation is he was killed by a black criminal thug or illegal alien gang member in a robbery gone wrong.
With all these lawyers with cameras on the street i'm shocked we have so much crime in the world.

There are Conservative radio stations?

You just have to live in the Conservative part of the West.  In farmland country we have 3 of them, Country Western.

Gosh.

Everything you say is true, but ROSEANNE was supposed to be light comedy.

Even "Throwback" comedy.

Like a show from the sixties, where everyone is, at heart, decent. Where we don't want to be challenged with hard issues, just shown a world that we might want to be. Not a world as it is.

Simple Family Entertainment.

If I could start a radio station, it would be run like a "WKRP In Cincinnati" type operation in a classic hit type format. Mostly 70's/80's/90's during the day and mostly themed music shows/DJ mix shows at night.

I would play very little Country. You could hear a couple classic Country hits intermixed with the classic rock, classic pop, and classic jams.

Yea I watched it just to see what the fuss was about. First t.v. show I have watched in about 10 years. Was not worth the wait, should have waited another 10 years before watching. Can't stand the canned laughter when there is nothing funny going on.

The news is full of this story of her show being cancelled because of a tweet about Valerie Jarrett. Quite frankly, I could care less. The tweet was not all that funny, but the over sensitives on the left have gone nuts. Roseanne showed her judgmental deficiencies by posting it. How it struck me is if the left is so outraged and hyper sensitive over this it just shows how shallow they are.

I watched the first reboot show and honestly it was 90% liberal values and 10% rino rebuttal crap. I didn't understand the "conservative" attraction so many folks claimed it to be.

Now IMO if Roseanne leaves out the monkey business stuff and just paid attention to Valerie Jarrett being part of the Muslim Brotherhood I think it will have generated a huge long fact filled conversation.

Instead, she falls back on name calling and that crap never ends in conversation just fighting. Now I'm up for a good fight but name calling is not worth getting in the ring for.

Yeah, to be honest, I didn't watch it, simply because I don't watch TV. I think it was overly hyped and the Trump connection was destined to be used as a wedge.
I still believe that ABC had a plan all along to use it as a political weapon and they didn't fail me.
