I am posting this here as it just more proof of the double standard of the MSM.

Were these storms a figment of our imagination? There is absolutely no news coming on the recovery efforts. Obviously FEMA and the leadership of Trump have been handled it well. If we recall, FEMA was out there early saying it was up to states and localities to begin work and FEMA was there as support. No nonsense about "don't worry we will handle it". The proper expectations were set.

Is it just me, or do Texans seem to handle hurricanes better than Floridians?
From the whacked out crazy idiots tying themselves to posts and cursing the hurricane, surfers, etc., do all the real idiots live in Florida?

Texans, pull out their guns and put out signs, "Looters will be shot.  There is nothing in this place worth dying for!"
Showing they can take care of themselves.  I'd not be surprised if we heard a story of FEMA being chased off by Texans, "Ain't you got enough work in Florida?"

Given it's a royal mess, and a co-worker said, "Who'd want to LIVE down there???"   

"If the opportunity came up - I'd transfer to that office immediately."

"Serious?"

"Yup, one of those islands, I'd work and retire down there, no question about it.
As nice as Hawaii is, who can afford to LIVE there?"
