Gunman goes on shooting spree in Northern California
Phil Johnston, the assistant sheriff for Tehama County, briefs reporters on the shootings near the Rancho Tehama Elementary School, Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2017, in Corning, Calif. Authorities said, a gunman choosing targets at random, opened fire in a rural Northern California town Tuesday, killing four people at several sites and wounding others at the elementary school before police shot him dead.

Something odd in the reporting. Yesterday, all I heard on the radio was "School shooting". This morning, I heard the school was using normal "lock the doors during school hours" which prevented the gunman from entering. Some kind of domestic dispute, and he was locked out.
Yesterday, it was reported as if 4 kids got shot -in- the actual school. a wee bit of creative editing/reporting, called modern journalism...?
I don't want anyone dead, kids, adults, in/outside the school - but was the MSM trying to squeeze this into a prepared narrative, again? Said to myself, "Oh no, not again..." as I was listening to the newscaster... thinking it was another Sandy Hook style shooting.

This is why I posted it raw, the writing and editing outright sucked, then again, it is Yahoo, a leftist rag, but they were the first with breaking news at the time.
Yeah, including the school in two thirds of the article, yet no one at the school was targeted, is nothing less than a leftist narrative for more gun control.
Gun control will work, just give it a chance. This was a gun free zone near a school, no one is allowed to carry and California is very stingy with CCW to begin with so no one was allowed to be armed anyhow. Then the guy was reported to have a criminal record which prevents him from legally owning guns in the first place. With laws like that we can surly stop gun violence if we can just do away with the NRA. :popcorn:
