Title: First Crime Spree in my Area
Post by: Solar on April 02, 2017, 10:59:22 AM
Aside from mailbox theft/vandalism, we had our first actual crime spree. :

Friday my brother informed me that his girlfriend was driving home, and just a couple of miles from home, someone shot out the rear quarter panel window of her Subaru.
She had pulled over to look to see what happened and my wife drove by thinking she was meeting my brother.
Anyway, she thought little of it, then my brother tells me he went to the approximate area of where she thought it happened and his windshield was shot out.
I then asked Toy if she heard anything hit her car, she said nope, I said you better look and see, and sure enough, he shot her rear door as well.
Then I got to thinking, I better check my truck too, and yep, driver side passenger door was hit.

So I took my drone and flew over the area, there is only one house for over a mile and all open pasture beyond, and after the house is cliff, so the house was the only place close enough to hide.
Informed the sheriff, they passed all info on to the CHP because it's considered their jurisdiction.
Officer wasted no time, confronted the dad and the 16 year old punk, and Bingo, he was busted.
In all, more than 10 cars were hit, though it's more than likely that 50 or more had been struck, some even multiple times, problem is, unless he hits the glass, you'd think it was a rock since all of our roads are chip n seal.

Dad has to pay the bill. My brother's girlfriend's window is about $500. his windshield is over $1000, Toy's door will be over a grand as will my door because they will need new skin and paint.
All in all, the dad will probably wind up in the hole well over $20K when all is said and done.

All of this done with a pellet gun.

I did some stupid shit when I was a kid, but by God, I never pointed even a BB gun at people or cars.
What's next for this little fucker, torturing animals? No doubt, a future Dim voter.

It only takes one jerk to screw up the serenity of a neighborhood.

BINGO!!!! Toy even had nightmares that someone was shooting at her, she was ecstatic he was caught, she can sleep easier now.
Now the kid will probably be shipped off if his dad knows what's good for him.
The people in my area don't take kindly to being shot at, so I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if he gets taken and dumped up country and told to find his way out, all of this, after getting the ass whoopin of his life and the fear of God put into him and begging for his life.

We lost an arsonist up here a decade back, they never did find the punk.

That sounds a lot like Cajun justice in south Louisiana.

That's what happen when people lose everything they own including pets and livestock.
When they let him out after a short stay in the mental hospital, people started talking that he wasn't safe to return, but he did anyway.
Some claimed they heard he moved back to Missouri shortly after, but those that knew him claimed he never made it and family wanted answers.
Who knows, maybe he did take off and never told anyone, but story told, he never actually left the area.
