Anyone notice how quickly that shit died?
If there's no money in it, the race pimps abandon it, and the rioters ran out of other peoples stuff to loot, so they too left, and all that's left to show for it?

A perfect example of leftist propaganda used to divide the country further, raised to the fervor of the perfect storm for a distraction of all the scandals propagated by the Dim party and their Marxist.
The LSM jumped on the story that somehow a thug criminal was a victim of law and order, that the white man is the enemy, and only Dims can save them from those evil "Law abiding Conservatives".

But why didn't this one have the sticking power of the other race based stories?
Could it simply be that the leftists ability to create animosity in their constituency is fading rapidly, libs are sick of it?
Maybe that the media is quickly becoming irrelevant, that the latest generation no longer watches TV, and that trying to spin a story where the criminal is a victim, simply no longer flies?

What ever the reason, people are sick of the divisions created by the left, and those that vote see no reason to vote for more division, as evidenced by polls showing that more than a large majority believe race relations have worsened under the Marxist, which translates into apathy, the voters see no reason to run to the polls for more failure.

Their inability in keeping this story alive is rather telling, the excitement to do what ever the left instructs their mindless drones to do is wearing off like a decade long drinking binge, a hang over if you will.
I don't think all that many will be returning to the Koolaid keg to start over, most will simply stay home and nurse their headache.

I believe that is the case, however, the Trayvon BS went on for more than a year, even after the looting died down, while this story died after just a few weeks.

There's one glaring difference between the Trayvon Martin case and the Ferguson thing -- there aren't any black people running for president this year.

On top of that, there are smaller differences. The video showing the 'gentle giant' committing a strong-arm robbery minutes before he was shot surely didn't help his case. The shooter in this case is an actual cop with a spotless service record. The MSM were exposed pretty thoroughly as liars and manufacturers of evidence in the Trayvon spectacle. Again thanks to the Trayvon circus, Al Sharpton has become a national laughingstock, along with his employer MSNBC, and Jesse Jackson is little more than a doddering old fool.

Here's a ray of sunshine -- Jackson will be 73 next month and his days of dominating the race-baiting subculture are done. Perhaps his son will step into his shoes... if he ever gets out of the penitentiary. Surprisingly, Sharpton, who clearly looks older than Jackson, is only 59. The good news is that I don't see anyone behind them, ready to step into their shoes when the years finally take their toll. Jackson may be the last of the race-hustlers who can claim to have marched alongside MLK; Sharpton was barely in high school when King was shot, and owes much himself to Jackson, in terms of pulling him up through the ranks. Behind those two, I see exactly what I want to see -- nothing.

You'll always have the race-baiters flocking to situations like Ferguson. It's what they do, and more importantly, it's how they maintain their influence, and their influence is what they sell for money. Consider that Al Sharpton is not pretty or tall or charismatic or particularly talented in any obvious way. In fact he's barely coherent, and English appears to be his second language. But Al Sharpton probably makes more money in one year from his MSNBC salary alone that I made in my ten best years building the highways that tie our cities together.

What held the Trayvon Martin case together was the picture the media were able to paint before it all got started. Remember that George Zimmerman shot Trayvon Martin in February, 2012, but you never even heard about it until the summer. The case was a media construct from the beginning, and the folks at NBC and ABC especially had plenty of time to gin things up before it went public. Trayvon Martin turned out to be the Kenyan's bestest friend as the 2012 election approached, just exactly as the Kenyan's media acolytes planned.

In Ferguson, the MSM didn't have that foothold, and they had no time to manufacture a narrative that would fit their purposes. The riots started the night of the very day the 'gentle giant' was shot, and they were characterized by video clips of black kids stealing iPhones and Nikes from shattered storefronts -- because the riots were all about smashing storefronts and stealing iPhones and Nikes. There was nothing else to show anyone. Well, there was that security camera video of the 'gentle giant' pushing a storekeeper around and stealing a box of cigars.... Yeah, there was that.

I agree with you that this was a short-lived hype, and I'm glad. Without any lead time to construct the narrative and manufacture evidence, and without the powerful motivation of a presidential election as a backdrop, there was no reason for Ferguson to last even as long as it did. And yes, everybody lost. The City of Ferguson wasn't exactly a paradise before; now it's nearly a wasteland. The MSM were a joke before, and now they're just a little more a joke.

After the police there, began "targeted arrests" where they as a wedge rush in, grab the rioter and then pull back out to their own lines.

AND it came out, about mid way of week two, that the same liberal race peddlars from out of town.

Had been arrested, released on bond, only to be re-arrested again the following night about three or four times in a row.

My bet is that they started no bond holds.

Meaning you don't get out of jail.

And low and behold the riots went away.....things which make one go hmmmm.
