BC aired 'A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving' Wednesday evening, a classic cartoon many Americans tune into every year, but this year many viewers were triggered by a "racist" scene.
The 'controversial' scene shows Charlie Brown hosting a 'Friendsgiving' after Peppermint Patty invites herself and the gang over to his house.

The Peanuts gang eats their meal in the backyard and the seating arrangement of the characters lit social media ablaze with claims of racism.

Franklin, the only black friend is sitting alone on a folding chair which caused a huge backlash from viewers.

Anybody that takes it serious of a cartoon of kids sitting on lawn chairs around a tennis table in the backyard eating a Thanksgiving meal of buttered toast, pretzel sticks, popcorn, jelly beans, and an ice cream sundae is the real racist.

I was a Peanuts follower at the time, I remember well when he inserted Franklin,, and yes, all my friends saw it as selling out.
It had nothing to do with racism on our part, but the push by racists in forcing cultural change at every turn. Unless one lived through that time, they can't begin to imagine the tension Marxists were creating across the country, even more so in Ca.

Franklin has the more comfy lounge chair. All the white kids are sitting on hard chairs.

In fact, Marcie is the only one sitting on a hard, folding chair. So, the white, heterosexual girl get's the worst chair.

Peanuts isn't racist. It's Liberally biased.
