Hey, folks. I'm really enjoying this group beat-down of the liberal agitprop-flinger.

But really! Please take the time to PROPERLY break up a long post with your replies. This is NOT about content but about proper formatting to avoid reader corn-fuzion.

Write your reply as fast and furiously as you like. Go for Ye Olde Gusto! Just take the extra time to go back and add the proper sets of square-bracket coding symbols so the quotes don't get confusing and readers can tell who says what.

This is so easy even I can do it. Ask Taxed.

For this seemingly pedantic and totally cryptogeekish reason, I'm going to substitute round parentheses --- ( and ) --- for square brackets (to not confuse CPF software here). Here's what a true set with square brackets looks like here with no content between them:

Quote

Go ahead and press the QUOTE button to see the proper thing, instead of a blank space here. You are now 95% of the way there.

Found where in somebody's post that you want to break in and reply? Great. Save time and break the original quote into separate paragraphs: the one you intend to reply to and the original NEXT sentence. This gives you room to work in and it's less confusing to beginners.

The command-set is the closing quotation (example here in boldface red), or (/quote) to let you add your comment. Then add (quote) to continue the original quote. Repeat as necessary.

If you know you'll be making several such insert-replies, copy the two commands as a set (this time with square brackets BEFORE ADDING ANY REPLY). Chop up the original post and then just add your replies, which will appear OUTSIDE the quotes as intended.
