CBS news spins uranium sale to Russia
« on: March 30, 2017, 08:45:17 AM »
Last night, CBS news addressed Donald Trump's tweet about
Hillary Clinton approving the sale of 20% of America's uranium to Russia.
They claimed it was "fake news."  But then admitted that,
"Like all conspiracy theories, it has a germ of truth."

Spokesman Scott Pelley then listed
several government agencies that did approve the sale,
including the Department of Defense and the Department of Energy.
They displayed on screen the logos of
nine government agencies that approved the sale.

Pelley then claimed that Hillary Clinton could not have stopped the sale,
and made no mention at all of the many millions of dollars
Russia gave to the Clintons' foundation.
Then, in true drive-by fashion, they immediately moved on to another story.

This is a technique frequently used by the drive-by media.
They report their version of the news like they're doing a drive-by shooting,
and then race off to the next story,
not leaving the viewer any time to think about what has just been said.

If Hillary had no influence over the sale,
then why would Russia give her so many millions of dollars?
And they completely glossed over the REAL story here,
namely, why would ANY government agency approve such a sale?
It certainly is a serious threat to our national EXISTENCE!
Let alone just our national interest!

The real story here is that
ALL of those agencies that approved the sale are astronomically corrupt!
But that got no discussion.  Can't let people think about that!
Off to the next story!

Tonight's example of proficiently faking the news is from
CBS News, Friday March 31, 2017.

The segment continues reinforcing the belief that
"the Trump campaign colluded with the Russians at hacking the election."

CBS said, "One theory is that money was the motive" for Trump's campaign people
"directing the Russians to where they could hack the Democrats' data."
CBS expects us to believe that Russia can't figure out on their own
how to find the Dems' website?
Even the most stupid, asinine assertions can sound credible
when spoken in a serious, "authoritative" tone!

The segment speculated that the Republicans
told the Russians to post 25,000 fake news stories.
The segment then asked who paid the trolls?

The segment was designed to lead viewers to believe that
the Republicans helped Russia hack Podesta's emails,
but made no mention of the fact that, before the "hack"
the Dems refused the FBI's offer to help them with computer security,
or the fact that Podesta himself gave the Russians access to his own emails
by falling for a phishing scam that's so obvious that
99.9% of people see right through it!

See-BS is fast approaching CNN and MSNBC's level of outright, unapologetic propaganda in place of political news. I refuse to watch them any more. CBS morning show used to be my Wife's choice in the AMs getting ready for work/school. But now I have her turn it to reruns of "Hot in Cleveland" - another show she likes, and ignore the TV.

Today's example of CBS's fake news is from Monday April 3, 2017:

CBS News reported that Donald Trump
received Egyptian President Sisi (sic) in the White House,
and said that Obama never had him there,
stating that Sisi led the overthrow of the elected government of Egypt,
killing over 1000 Egyptians.

CBS left out the fact that the elected government of Egypt
was condoning the radical jihadists' genocide of Christians.

Also, the name of the President of Egypt is Abdel Fattah el-Sisi,
usually called "el-Sisi", not "Sisi" for short.
