Beware of the snowflake police!

We've been seeing at institutions of higher indoctrination
students being trained to be "snowflakes" -
trained to have a meltdown like a toddler
at the sight or sound of anything they feel is "offensive."

Imagine a council of these snowflakes
empowered by the city government
to impose a fine of $500 a day
upon any business that happens to offend them.

Imagine no more.  That is being made reality in Chillicothe Ohio.

The council to be established by the proposed ordinance
would have three members,
not elected, but appointed by the city commission.

It would have the power to directly levy fines
of up to $500 per day per "offense"
("offense" being completely undefined ahead of time -
instead to be defined after the fact (ex post facto law!)
by anyone who wishes to complain to the Snowflake Council.)

Apparently the left has grown weary of having to bother with the trouble of
going to court and actually arguing their case against some poor baker
who doesn't want to draw pornographic imagery on a cake.
They'd rather have their own council to make a summary judgment
and impose a fine.

Watch out for a clone of this ordinance to be imposed in a city near you!

I thought about posting it in this category,
since all the other articles about "snowflake students"
are over here.

I went with the other category because
this is no longer a cultural distraction.
It is being made into law with some serious teeth in it!

I'm just glad to have this posted somewhere.

This ordinance really would convert the USA into
a reign of terror like the Soviet Union!
Where everyone was terrified of
saying the wrong thing to anyone, lest they "disappear."

The only difference is,
instead of the accused non-conformists disappearing,
all their money disappears.

People will simply move out of Jurisdictions with "Snowflake" ordinances and Management, businesses will relocate to a suburb and once again inner cities will degenerate into something that looks like a Giant Detroit or Perhaps a dirtier, smellier version of Calcutta India.

Id like to see "Snowflakes" try and enforce environmental laws in some housing project with a drug dealer on every corner....

Detroit's coming back, very, very slowly. I think Calcutta fits better. But yeah, now that you mention it, when Snowflake meets the 9-mm acid rain, things are indeed gonna get in'tresting.
