Getting close to the big day folks and I was just wondering if any of you have an early prediction for the upcoming election?  Any answer will certainly get the pot boiling because of all the scandals we've gotten thrown on us.

I'll get the potl boiling first.

I keep beating the drum on voter fraud.  I can't help my pessimistic attitude on our voting situation.  I don't trust the democratic handlers to give us a true representation at the voter booths.  Too much emphasis has been put on voters having to have voter ID-this emphasis is democratic based too.  Too many crooked groups out to get a democrat voted in, no matter what it takes.

One other thing that I'm most concerned about is the failure of Rep or even Tea candidates to fraternize with the local voting base by way of roadside ads, local meetings of the party (town hall) even appearances on local TV talk shows in their area of most voter base.  I'm wondering what they expect of us if they are not going to show up more to garner interest in their bid for election?

I learned a long time ago not to predict outcomes or believe poll numbers.

The R's have proven too many times how they can snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

I think too many of these races are too close to get my hopes up.  Also, it will depend on how many dead voters get out to vote.

The danger to America is not Barack Obama but the citizens capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency.

I predict the GOP will win 9 seats while retaining all that they currently hold.  It will happen on a day that I predict will everafter be known as Red Tuesday.

I think the House GOP will expand their lead. The Senate should swing to the GOP but I don't trust the DNC. They will cheat and the GOP still has time to screw it up although they have been very disciplined this cycle.

Considering how the GOP candidates have screwed up so badly in the past you are absolutely correct. I think the GOP has done a much better job in vetting their candidates this time around. Hopefully it will pay off.

Michigan's RINO candidate will almost certainly lose. She's too timid and nobody wants to vote for Democrat lite.

I'm unsure who you're referring-to.

The Michigan Republicans' website reported the squabble about members using the word; RINO.

If they're offended by RINO, we could call them Progressive Republicans, but I don't think they'd understand why that's an insult.

A lot of that can be attributed to the Tea Party. As the movement has matured it has grasped the reality that this is politics and just because a candidate has the right policies they aren't necessarily the best candidate.
We can also credit the RNC for directing the candidates to stay away from social issues.
