Thanks for the info. I didn't know that there was such an organization. It is very disturbing that some lower courts are ruling in favor of Sharia. This taking place in Southfield (it's been years since I lived in the area) was quite surprising to me, though it is not far from Dearborn which has one of the largest populations of Muslims in the country.
I am not fully up to speed on the topic, but I believe it's safe to say this demonstration surprised many Chaldean (Christian) immigrants in Southfield, and was viewed as being in the wrong venue for RELIGIOUS reasons --- they're not Muslims.
ACT is a large organization and it is refreshing and encouraging to know that they are out there. Sharia law is slowly creeping into our society and it needs to be stopped now rather than later. Too many people are apathetic or ignorant to Sharia law and we as a country better wake up in a hurry.
