It was one thing to run block for Mitten, and I kind of let her slide a by because she "FELT" he was a really good guy with a caring heart, despite the fact he is a no holds barred leftist RINO.
But I think we're starting to finally see what Coulter is actually made of and who she's been shilling for all these years, the Establishment.
Looking back at her articles and books, it becomes clear that what she wrote was designed as nicely trimmed red meat for the base with tidbits of "redirection", that voting for a RINO is better than letting a leftist win a seat, the very same method the Establishment used to secure power within the GOP.

Gee, kind of weird, the GOP Establishment is collapsing Right along with the Dims.

I know you can appreciate all of this more than most after watching the slow slide into Hell by Leftists in both party's.
I only caught the tail end of a much smaller, less powerful Fed govt that used to pretty much stay in DC, a time when no one talked politics, to today, when the left managed to politicize everything.

What I find interesting is, and bear with me on this. For decades she was a tool of the Establishment to get the base riled up. Did a great job, kept us distracted while the RINO set the players on the board for us to vote for, because we were so afraid of a Dim getting elected, we ignored the Conservative running in the same race.
In other words, we were willing to elect a GOP Leftist to stop a Dim Leftist. It's the same tool they've used against us with near complete success for decades, then Trump enters the picture, the base is pissed at the GOP for screwing us at every turn, and Trump is elected, the base is rallying behind Trump.

Midterms rolled around and the base spoke with their vote and the RINO got booted out of the house because we are no longer supporting leftist GOP, Period.
Now we have Ann, the leadership is shook, they don't know what to do, their numbers within the party are shrinking rapidly, their internals tell them a repeat is taking place in 2020, that the base will not support their leftist RINO brethren, even her golden boy Mitten had to change states to get elected, an option other RINO do not have, so, like many in the house, they too will retire.

Back to Ann, a person with a direct line to McCONnel, she found out the truth, she knows her gravy train is over, but she's still leftist enough to stay where it's comfortable, so she's jumping on the Bernie hydrogen filled dirigible.
She's about to relive the Hindenburg as her career goes up in a flash.

Case in point, what I wrote so many years ago, is finally coming to fruition.

You know that split in the Democrat Party that we are always talking about?  I don't think we scrutinize nearly enough the split in the GOP, even among Conservatives. 

There are RINOS who are what used to be called country club Republicans (we in New York used to call them Rockerfeller Republicans). Generally speaking, they represent Liberal districts where they balance party purity against their odds of being reelected if they don't stray from the party's path. 

We also have those One Worlder, Globalists who still adhere to George HW Bush's vision thing about a New World Order!  Far too often they are willing to turn their backs on Conservative principals for what they perceive as a greater good.    These were (are) what used to be called neocons.  They aren't very comfortable with the idea of America First.  Just like many of their Liberal Friends, they look beyond the era of the nation state and see the future of America as the Senior Partner in an alliance of North, South & Central America.  The problem with this theory is that these Elites are not asking us!  Just like the Elite Liberals, they think that the people don't know what's good for them and therefore it is up to them to do what's good for all the unwashed deplorable masses.

Ann Coulter spends far too much time hob nobing with both Liberal and Neocon Elites and she seems to have become one of them.  She's still a Mitter Fan and he's no fan of the President's or any of his supporters!

I get where the elites are coming from, they see a shrinking world, demographically speaking, they think the world is on the verge of one big melting pot of peace, where Freedom and Liberty must sacrifice if we're to fit anywhere in this so called "New World Order", problem is, they are representative of what went wrong with the GOP and their constant capitulation to the left.
There is no reason to sacrifice what made our country great just to get along and fit in.

Trump is proving their ideas are all wrong, he knows what damage it would do to the Republic if we were to sign on to their BS.
Thank God Trump came along when he did.

I think that it is uncomfortable to have a conversation concerning problems within our own party.  It's far easier (and far more fun) to point at the problems within the Democrat Party.  However, I think that it is easier for us to carry on a conversation with those we share much in common, than with Liberals or the Far Left or the ultra-Far Left Marxists. ( I do see the Democrats have these three groups..the Blue Dawg 'conservative" Democrats are either now Republicans of Independents ).

If the GOP can not come together and find consensus one of two things may happen. Either the Democrats will win or both the Dems and the GOP may splinter into two (or more) parties on each side of the political aisle.  Many nations have gone through this and they end up having to build a coalition government with members of two or more parties agreeing to vote for certain candidates and sharing power.  In the case of the Presidential election, either we would have to do this in order to achieve 270 electoral votes or the House of Representatives could decide who they wanted.

No, we've been fighting the good fight for a very long time and we're winning. The RINO are being pushed out.
