A solution to school bullying

I am disgusted that people think bullying is good. You have only strengthened my resolve. I want an ROTC or another military program in every school in America to act as an anti bullying police force.

Hand a .45 to every teacher and accomplish the same thing.

Not sure if you missed my response or misunderstood it. I do not think bullying is in any sense good. But like Solar said, your "solution" will in many cases empower and give authority to the next regime of bullies. And in many other cases these Playground Police will be so hobbled as to be as ineffectiveas current adult administrators. Letting victims fight back won't be 100% effective, but at least it won't replace existing bullies with a new set, or create false hopes of relief.
