Christianity does very well when in the minority.  The Roman Empire did not grant the early Church special holidays.

This is absolutely true, in fact the persecuted church rarely prays for delivery from that persecution, because following persecution is usually revival.

Stalin did exactly the same thing.

Hitler (actually Himmler and Goebbels) did exactly the same thing.

There are patterns in history.

Indeed, the leftists like to think of history as a continual progression towards perfecting the nature of man until we can finally live in the harmonious state with nature and each other. usually they just mean totalitarian state where resources are rationed and urbanization is curtailed.

But if you read history you will see that the same variables that has plagued mankind since beginning of recorded history are still with us today and human nature has not changed at all. Not even with computerization and the leftist claim that video games makes men less violent.

I find it hilarious and sad that leftist don't think genocide can happen today because we have "advanced" as a species and ignore north korea, and that the pattern of oppression as you stated is repeating itself as inevitable consequences of leftist policies.
