An on-topic post?! :scared: Gonna have to Report this to the Moderators!

As soon as I pry my tongue out of my cheek!

As soon as I find a pencil and paper I will make a note of that.  Memo to one of the admins I need more office supplies.

I think it ought to be the other way around. The pyramids have no ability to resist the onslaughts of time, which include some incursions by men, but mostly the effects of weather, and the inevitable deterioration of the basic materials used in their construction. (Um, they used a lot of desert sand, a material notoriously difficult to convince to cling to itself. Also they used 'rock' that is essentially desert sand smashed into a solid. Same story.)

As far as we know, time is infinite. The pyramids, assuming that is so, and without massive intervention by man, will eventually disappear.

I see the Arabs are holding to there old ways of thinking.

Yep, look at what happened to the great Arizona pyramids built a million years ago.
But seriously, man has no clue as to how many times the planet has turned inside out, we only have a best guess. Nothing is forever.

I'm not worried about global warming. I bought a case of sun-block and I got started building my new houseboat! Yep, started digging the basement just last week....  :tounge:

True story. As a kid I watched a neighbor building a boat in his garage, of course he took years, and after about a decade of no progress, he finally became determined to finish it.
Of course his plans strayed a bit in the interim and he added a flying deck for fishing and relaxing.

Yeah, he had to remove the face of the garage to get it out.

Oh yeah. One of my dad's favorite "briar" jokes. (A "briar" to him was short for "briarhopper," which was a Kentuckian, or maybe a West Virginian.)

How many briars does it take to put in a basement window? Answer: 11. It only requires one to install the window, but it'll take the other ten a couple days to dig a hole for the ladder.

Your neighbor should have hired a crew of "briars."  :tounge:
