According to the latest Nielsens, released Tuesday, Sunday night's telecast of "The Bible," produced by husband-and-wife team Mark Burnett and Roma Downey for basic cable's History channel, managed to attract more viewers than anything on broadcast network NBC ... during the entire week.

I've been watching it every Sunday night. It's excellent!!!!!

I can't believe the networks were stupid enough not to have picked it up. It's anything but boring.

I'll have to wait for it to run again this summer, I missed the beginning. I kinda quit watching the history channel when they started doing those weird shows, give me back History.

I told HG it was going to be on and he asked me if it was going to be followed by Ancient Aliens? 
So, yeah.  We missed it, but I have a ton of friends on fb who did watch it and most reviews were quite good.  With ratings like they are getting, they would be fools to not replay it (or sell DVDs).

It looks like you can catch up now. They are reshowing the first two. I also think I saw it airing on Lifetime channel. It's really good.

That guy with "the hair" is awesome, seriously.  It is like he went to the trouble of putting it pompadour style, then got in a convertible, brand new "style" has been born...or maybe the aliens tried to been him up, and all that happened was his hair stood up.  I'll try to find a picture.

We watch that show when there is nothing else on, so we can laugh our butts off.  It's good stuff.

I've always loved watching well done science fiction shows, and this one has been pretty good so far. Who knew 3,000 year old fiction could still be so interesting today? History Channel really hit it out of the ballpark with this sci fi show.

You need to get "science fiction" in that post a few more times. It went over everybody's head (sarcasm, because it went over yours)
