ISLAMABAD (AP) — A Pakistani couple accused of killing their 15-year-old daughter by pouring acid on her carried out the attack because she sullied the family's honor by looking at a boy, the couple said in an interview broadcast Monday by the BBC.

The girl's death underlines the problem of so-called "honor killings" in Pakistan where women are often killed for marrying or having relationships not approved by their families or because they are perceived to have somehow dishonored their family.

My question is, where is the outrage from the left? They love to talk about Romney's war on women, but this stuff is okay. I don't get it.

That's one isolated incident. Most Islamic parents love their children and would never do such things any more than a Christian would.  We have Christian zealots too!  Islam is a peaceful religion. It says something about you that you scour the internet for these RARE stories to put Islam in a bad light. 

And on and on and on.  I know their responses because I've dealt with them for so long. The liberal, just like the devout Muslim is not an honest creature.

The first thing that struck me about the story is that there was no mention of PUNISHMENT!  It's like I said, we do have evil people here too. The difference is we punish them and at least remove them from society.

While I don't often believe in an eye for an eye, at the minimum, creatures such as this should be put to DEATH.  It's the just punishment for such a brutal torture and murder of your own child.  That'll never happen in those cultures. Women and kids are less than human.

I'm not a right winger. I believe in adhering to the US constitution.
