WTF are you talking about?

Solar:  WTF are you talking about ?

MY RESPONSE:

This is the F I am talking about: By definition God is Omniscient, Omnipotent and Omnipresent.

If that is the F what God is, then WTF (That's WHY) didn't he prevent the EVIL perpetrated against the innocent children ?

I ask again: was he too busy working in his mysterious ways ?

After all: God is OMNISCIENT therefore God KNEW before what happened that this EVIL would happen !

ADDENDUM: God is supposed to be OMNISCIENT, OMNIPOTENT, OMNIPRESENT.

With regard to the Newton, Conn., massacre of innocents:

WTF (That's WHERE) was God ???

Since God is OMNISCIENT, God KNEW beforehand that this Spawn of the Devil would perpetrate this HORRENDOUS EVIL on the Children !!!

Since God is OMNIPOTENT, God had the POWER to stop[ the DEVIL from perpetrating this Horrendous Evil.

Since God is OMNIPRESENT, God being OMNISCIENT, and OMNIPOTENT, and OMNIPRESENT .......God would have been there to prevent this EVIL.

SO: WTF (that's WHERE) was God when this was happening ???

You're under the illusion God controls mans behavior, good or bad? That's just flat out ignorant, God gave us free will and reign over our domain.
If you're trying to make the case that God doesn't exist, you failed at that as well, just look around you.

God supposedly created all of us.

Supposedly God is Omniscient. When he created us God already KNEW the results of his creation before hand.

Even if God supposedly gave us FREE WILL.......he already KNEW how each of us would turn out and what fate we had....

So WTF did God, in creating these innocents (with free will) and the EVIL BUTTHOLE (with free will) also created by God......WHY DID GOD CREATE BOTH INNOCENTS AND THE PSYCHO (with free will) WHEN HE KNEW THE RESULTS BEFORE HAND ....EVEN IF THE PSYCHO HAD FREE WILL.....God KNEW what the Psycho would do ?!?

And, I'm not trying to prove God doesn't exist. I AM DESPERATELY TRYING TO FIND A PLAUSIBLE REASON TO BELIEVE IN HIM !!!

I don't know your age, but these are questions a child asks and finally figures out on their own. And quit yelling, you're an adult, right?

We have free will, God gave each and every individual control over their own destiny, pain, hate, love sorrow, these are all needed for growth as a human, as an individual.

Say, all these pains, adversities were to be removed, no pain, no sorrow through loss, how as people would we develop, how would you recognize happiness?
God gave us life, he gave us the ability to feel all levels of the emotional spectrum, if he didn't give us sorrow, we would never develop empathy, etc.
God as a father, relinquished his parental duties to that of our parents, and like a good parent, does not interfere with our development into adults.

Love and hate are essential to our development, without one of these, we wouldn't have a ruler from which to measure all of our other emotions, achievements, failures.

God has no interest in dictating our path, if we fail, it's not God' fault, it's ours.
God gave us the keys to the car and trusted we would move forward safely, instead we remove him from our schools and discredit his name, and you wonder why he didn't intervene?
It's this very same reason libs put so much faith in Govt, they have tossed aside God and are looking for guidance elsewhere, sadly through Govt.

I speak to God everyday, it probably has everything to do with my success and happiness, I never turned my back on him.
Go to a Church and talk to someone, I think you need to understand Gods plan and how he includes you.

Lib's believes in big government for all the free things they get in life.

God is about beyond this life time as we know it.   In this lifetime you have the right to sink or swim.  You are in the sink or swim time of your life.  God has given you a life line, what you do with it is up to you.

Just my way of thinking.

All these regurgitated responses by the religious keep mouthing off the same tired BS conveniently bypassing the central issue which is that if God was indeed the THREE O's (Omniscient,Omnipotent, Omnipresent) then god woulda KNOWN BEFOREHAND how everything turns out.

And, one doesn't need pain , misery, agony to develop .....personally I learn more and develop more successfully when I'm healthy. Of course when faced with calamities, diseases, etc.....Mankind creates antidotes, etc.......But, one would think that a World where there wasn't any torture, agony, horrendous happenings would be preferable instead of what seems to be the ULTRA SADISTIC World that has been created with which we have to cope.

My, aren't you the optimist?
You completely missed the point. Imagine if you couldn't feel love or hate, how would you develop as a person?
God gave you the ability to experience these emotions, but if he were to intervene every time something bad were to occur, you would never know pain/hate, stifling your ability to develop compassion/love for your fellow man.

And for your information, I do not subscribe to any Religion, though I support anyone that wishes to engage in worship.
My personal belief is that God planted the seed that allowed us a place to experience life and all it entails, what you subscribe to is dogma in that God intervenes.
Myself, I believe God gives you what you need, not what you want for a successful life.

So, because God did not respond in the way that you expect him to, He was not there?  I assure you, He was there, comforting the survivors, and helping the others in various ways.

You have these questions, because to you, death is an evil, scary thing.  To those who love the Lord, death is not scary.  Yes, the Lord would have known this was coming and would have laid it on believers hearts prior to that day to speek to them about salvation.  He would also be ultimately aware of how they would respond.  The choice to become a believer or not is completely our own.  However, don't expect to Lord to think that the end of this life is a bad thing, because I doubt he would see it that way.

As to why He would create that person when he obviously did something evil, wait until you have children.  No matter what they do, or if they disappoint you, it is still better than never having them at all.  I lost one between my second and third living child, I will be so happy to finally hug that one when I die.

Some people never make that personal connection with God.
I had it long before I could even walk.

You are the one that's missing the point.

It isYOU who created your God as the the Three Os thus being the ULTIMATE in all things .....that's YOUR "strawman" .....which YOU by your creation deem to be PERFECTION.

Unfortunately for you, by creating the "GOD" as being "perfection"......you then have to contradict your "PERFECTION"......because if EVERYTHING woulda been PERFECT then we, the HUMANITY, who created "GOD" would have a "PERFECT" LIFE .....which we don't......HENCE: the inherent paradox which is unresolvable no matter how much you babble about FREE WILL etc.

Conclusion: The "GOD" of the Organized Religions of the World is an unresolvable paradox.

No surprise that the GREATEST MINDS in the HISTORY of Mankind UNANIMOUSLY came to the same conclusion:It is IMPOSSIBLE to prove the existence or nonexistence of "GOD".

Call the Chairmen of any reputable University in the World (and that even includes some of the Religious ones) and they will ALL confirm my statement above.

I've said what there is to say on this subject.

There isn't anything more.......as far as I'm concerned.

God did not, nor did we create a Utopia. How hard is that to understand?
I said we were given free will to venture forward as a specie, we were given the ability to experience life and all that entails, from hate to love.
Can you imagine just how boring Utopia would actually be?
That's why were here, we wanted more than  just existing, we wanted to feel, we wanted pleasure, but to understand pleasure, you have to have pain.

You really are bereft of a spiritual life.

IF the time comes and there is no God, what have I losted.   On the other hand if we are right and your wrong.

You completely forget that we are a fallen creation, and yes, He knew we would fail.

As to proving the existence of God, of course you can't, if you can prove that something exists, you don't need faith to believe.  That will not happen because faith will always be a part of salvation.

I think the fact that were here is proof enough God exists.
There is no way in Hell we could have created life on our own, it required far more than an accident.

In the face of all the evidence to the positive, people still want to deny the obvious.
What empty souls they must have.

Do you think God should restrict our free will "in certain cases"?  For example, if you try to murder someone, should he convert the bullets into smoke in mid-air?

If you think this is a good idea, then where do you draw the line?  What about theft?  Should he prevent it?  What about lust?  Should he prevent that too?

At what point does he step in and limit the consequences of free will while allowing free will...and...is that really free will if he does so?

Please seriously consider how you would answer these questions and the implications before you respond...

And, I'm not trying to prove God doesn't exist. I AM DESPERATELY TRYING TO FIND A PLAUSIBLE REASON TO BELIEVE IN HIM !!!

Are you?  If he doesn't fit in your box would you still believe in him given evidence?  What if he actually did have a specific plan here?  I'm not saying that he did, and neither do I believe that he did, but what if he did?

My Mom used to say, when looking of one of her pretty hollyhocks, how could anyone deny that there is a God?  One who could make something so lovely?  I'm a gospel music pianist and I fully understand the words to the song, "Consider the Lillies".  It takes the simpliest of things or examples to reveal His handiwork and presence.  These things we so often dismiss as just something that has and will always be there.  Me?  I love music but I wonder about the intelligence that He has given to us as He will, to be capable to do and learn and build whatever we want.  Why would we spend one minute doubting Him or trying to do things that weren't good and grasp things that are bad?  Why think on evil?  To be sure, you will pattern your life after whatever it is that you hold onto so why not look up to the author of your life and your salvation if you just believe He is there to guide you?  He proves Himself to me over and over.  Nothing I could ever do would mean anything to Him, or that my goodness could be explained by my actions.  He is looking for the ones who will believe and accept His finished work and letting Him guide their lives.  It ain't easy either.  If you consider Him to be your friend, you have to talk to Him daily, have that conversation that is between real friends, telling Him your joys, heartaches, fears, cares of every sort.

Here's my question: Why do people that don't believe in God, feel so compelled to eliminate him or blame him?

After all, something that doesn't exist, can niether be eliminated or blamed. Nor can it be a threat.

Seems to me, that they are more delusional than the people that believe in God. At least we know that God is real. In the meantime, they are filing lawsuits to get rid of something that's not there.

Why wouldn't the intellectual elite just humor us hayseeds? Instead they exhibit fear.

My mother died when I was young. I was 17 when she died, after 3 years of fighting cancer.

I was so busted up that I prayed to both the devil and God. I just wanted to feel better.

I guess my Mother taught me right.

The devil came calling.

God made himself available. It's a lesson I will never forget.

God will never force you to do anything, nor will the devil. Your choice.
