This family is facing the equivalent ofa $250 per day fine for inviting 6-10 people into their home on a weekly basis.

Wonder how many book clubs or knitting clubs they have "busted" for meeting regularly?  Yeah, I couldn't find any either.

The fines are preposterous.

Everyone is entitled to have meetings that don't hurt anyone ..... even if it's simply to wallow in religious nonsense.

Yawn

This is why people don't respect the nonsense of the Atheist religion.  I don't know any Christian who signs up to a forum and spends most of their time mocking the beliefs of arrogant and pompous Atheists. Christians generally let them have their beliefs.  Yet those followers of Atheism seem to haunt religious forums and attempt to proselytize yet they don't have the brains to understand that no one looks up to those who look down on them.  If you think you'll win converts this way, you'll find NONE.  But that's not your goal. You're only interested in FEELING superior to those who don't accept your religion.

Anybody (besides the atheist) have any other theories why they haunt an area of the forum where they oppose the basic purpose of the forum?  A deep need to be convinced that their Creator exists?  A deep desire to feel superior about SOMETHING in their otherwise worthless life?  Guilt?  What's your theory.

I am not sure if your post has anything to do with my presence on this board.

If it does, my last post in the thread "Christianity vs Islam" should enlighten you as to the reason why I post on this and any other religious forum.

Let's get something clear: I am not sure whether I am an Atheist, or even an Agnostic. As I stated in that post, my God (if he exists) is Einstein's or Spinoza's God: the Sum Total of the Laws of the Universe.

Read that post for more details.

As far as the major portion of your post: you seem to be bereft of any knowledge of History. Christians slaughtered each other with even more verve and vigor than they did infidels. And the Spanish Inquisition  by Torquemada, the Pope's bosom buddy, was more horrendous than anything in Mankind's History (when considering the barbarity of the tortures, not the quantity).

This RELIGIOUS Fanaticism is still alive today. Not the Christian variety, their practices have become more civilized......but, then, who can tell when one deals with IMAGINARY BS ????? But, the RELIGIOUS fanaticism of Islam, which given full reign, may yet be even more dangerous quantitatively what with the nuclear age.

So...are you suggesting that "evil" does not truly exist?  Or that "good" does not exist?  Because these seem to be included in the "total sum of the universe."

Anything that hurts humans is "evil". Anything that that benefits humans is "good". Both are REAL. Both truly exist.

And, this will phuk your Christian mind up: What may be "good" for a certain human, may be "evil" for another.

IOW, "good" and "evil" are relative terms.

So...what you're talking about is preference.  I "don't prefer this."  I "do prefer that."  Seems a little misleading to use grandiose terms like "good" and "evil" for mere preference.

Besides which, are you sure you know what is good for you and what is not?  After all, a child prefers candy to vegetables.  Does that make the candy "good" and the vegetables "evil"?  Now, a child is immature and doesn't have a lot of life experience.  But are you really confident that you know enough to truly know what is good and evil for you?  Or for anyone else?

And, you my friend, seem to be a pseudo-intellectual who has no understanding of the meaning of the words you are using.

"Infidel" is a Muslim term for those not of the Faith (Islam). Christians and Pagans were referred to as "Infidels" by the Muslims.

Christian, did not refer to Muslims as "Infidels".

Agnostic or Atheist, you are, apparently educated well beyond the level of your intelligence!
