How do ya'll deal in times of doubt? Ive been a Christian since I was a teen (despite having an atheist family). Lately though Ive found myself doubting so much. Like, I get most of the evil of the world is because of humanities free Will and the devil. But what about illness? Cancer? Genetic illness? Did god make that? Why? I still believe but I dont understand why, I find myself doubting if god is so loving after all after a series of events that has happened in my life lately. How do you deal when you get feelings like this?

FAITH in GOD.
God created the world and all the good and bad that it brings. Mankind has created much of the hardship we encounter. I am one of those who has no problem accepting creation and Darwinism as God is timeless and infinite. He created the world and let it evolve. Life is bigger than man can comprehend and that is why we some tome ask, "Why God?". It is at that point I have to look to God for comfort

I will try to pray on it and accept that certain things us humans just dont understand. Its hard at times, Thanks for your words ♥️
First off, I go to the Bible, God's Holy word. I study what God said rather than rely on myself or someone/something else that may or may not be true. Humans are deceitful. The Bible says that when the rapture happens deceit will be widespread. I believe that the media will be the vehicle used to spread that deceit since they have a long history of "fake news", misinformation and disinformation.
Secondly I compare the nonsense that I read, hear and see with scripture to see if it bears out as truth. God has NEVER, EVER gone against His word although humans will try to tell you that He has. This is just more deceit. If something does not bear out with the word of God, you know instantly that it is not truthful but is intended to lead you astray.
Last but certainly not least, I pray about it. God sent His Holy Spirit to us to guide us into truth rather than deception.
The devil uses doubt and causes what humans call "bad". While the devil may cause the "bad", God uses it for good, to His glory, for His purpose and for His will. If you look at all of the "stuff" that is going on right now, it's all from the devil. It is all designed to draw people away from God except those who know the truth. I serve a BIG God so, He will win and all those who worship and serve Him will win with Him.
