Liberals and atheists feel emboldened by the string of events recently which have put Christianity in a negative light in America.  Therefore, they are probably starting a new affront to our faith.

This past Sunday at my church there was a heckler in our adult bible study class.  He was bold and loud.

The teacher, who happens to be a seminary professor of great knowledge and skill, handled the situation extremely well.  The heckler tried varies ways of disrupting the class but eventually left the room when he was unsuccessful in ruffling the Professor or disrupting the class.

Our church is one of the largest in the DFW metroplex and has an extremely well known Pastor.  I expect things like this to increase in the coming months and final days of Obama's Administration.

So this thread is the place to share similar attacks against Christianity.

So, now we have people going into churches, in this case a fairly high profile church in a fairly high profile area, Dallas/Fort Worth, for the purpose of disruption?  I don't know any other way of putting it.

I can't conceive of this, pre-Obama, but now am not surprised. Disappointed, yes. Did this make the news? Seems a thorough investigation is in order.

We have one in our church who packs along his Glock 17, open carry. Somehow, it is always a comfort to look up and see that he is in attendance.

Our heckler did not break any laws.  He was just being a heckler and trying to disrupt the class.  There is literally nothing you can do about someone like this in a public venue..... like church.  We just kept him from gaining any momentum.  I suppose he could have continued endlessly but he did not.  After about ten minutes he left the room.

Please don't think all atheists are like that. Most couldn't care less about your Bible study or what you choose to believe - as long as you don't bother them, they won't bother you.

Of course all atheists are not like that.  That never occurred to me.  But there are many Christian haters out there and they feel like they have a friend in the WH.

Important point made in this article:

http://www.firstthings.com/article/2012/03/presbyterianisms-democratic-captivity

The church developed a two party system.  Under that system, the majority took it upon itself to make the rules,  like the spoils of war. Those events evolved into tyranny -- the self serving majority making it hot for the minority opposition.  As the title suggests, the democratic system became the prison's wall.

Sound vaguely familiar?

The war on christianity is not limited to America.

This UK woman was fired from her job for answering a question a co-worker asked about her church.

In all likelihood the lesbian co-worker was baiting the lady because the lesbian has an agenda against christianity.
