This is a visually stunning video by Viktoria Modesta, who's taking it to the very edge creatively regarding being an amputee. A bit long (6:08), very artistic, and unlike anything I've seen all year....

The music is poppish, rappish crap, sad to say. The video production is, on the other hand, outstanding! (I loved the little B/W TV blips of her.) Not sure about the obvious Nazi references, or how that fits in. I was interested to read that she is an amputee by consent -- she voluntarily authorized the removal of her leg as an effort to forestall future health problems.

Very interesting indeed.  The lit prosthetic with moths swarming around it was pretty creative.  I'm not sure how much mileage she can get from being an amputee, but she is good looking and has potential, and they aren't short on production.

I like it.  Morbid mixed with sexy.

Morbid, ya think? I see some dark themes, yes, something that certainly isn't even unusual in the pop scene these days. I'm still trying to recognize the language used in the voice-over -- it's definitely not German, despite the SS-themed costumes. I'm not sure... I don't think it's Russian either, but I think Russian is a lot closer than German. She is a native of Latvia, but when she was born there, Latvia was part of the Soviet Union. Hmmmm.....

In one way, I liken her to Liberace, who practically shouted to every audience that he was gay, a thing far worse than a physical handicap in those days. It's easy too to compare her to Oscar Pistorius, the famous "blade runner."
