Edie Brickell is a singer who actor/musician Steve Martin first heard sing live and Martin voluntarily sent her the instrumentals she turned into this remarkable album, Love Has Come for You.

If you liked the banjo in Deadwood, you'll really like this. Martin's playing is terrific, and Edie Brickell is both haunting and plaintive. It's a powerful collaboration.
