Listening to a song that puzzled the shit out of me.
The opening lines are:

My question is, were you able to do that? Sleep all Day and stay up all night? I can't help but think that generation is destined for failure, due to lack of parenting.

At 16 I was working 8 to 10 hrs. a day.  If I was not in school.

Same here. My parents saw to it I wouldn't have girl issues till I got out of the military. My mom planned it that way, she didn't want me hamstrung with a baby as a kid, knowing they'd be raising it.
They kept my ass as busy as a water boy in Hell till the day I hit basic training.
